Fantasy football playoffs.....
Goff vs Jets
Or
Ben vs Bengals?

Goff. The Jets actually have respectable run defense, but horrible pass defense. Plus, if I was McVay, I'd want to use this game to instill Goff with confidence and throw more than run until we're up by 28

Seattle gashed them for 170 yards on the ground, the Pats 160. Not sure why you think the run D is any good? 10 games out of 13 giving up over 100 yards rushing
I'd say Goff because he's Goff, overdue for a big game and f#$% Roethlisberger. But there is for sure the chance that the Rams salt this one away early and get him some rest

GOFF.
l believe this since I lost in FF this past week with Steeler WRs. Schuster can’t get open deep, teams are jamming Claypool at the line and the rest drop passes all game long. Ben isn’t getting the help he needs from play design to performance by the WR Corp. (all JMO)

A ton of dropped passes there.

They're 6th best in YPC allowed, tied with us. Teams run against them, a lot, because they're often losing. Not saying their run d was good against Seattle and New England, but based on their stats for the year, and considering how bad of a team they are overall, they definitely have a respectable run defense.

Their pass defense on the other hand is near the bottom of the league in all categories.

Teams are also kneeling at the end of every game costing ypc. I’ve seen the team play and their run D isn’t good. BTW, Raiders and Dolphins also help the stats because they’re RB rooms are empty and we’re giving carries to 4th string guys.

The Miami loss doesn't look near as bad as it did a month ago. Their D is legit and the Rams got sucker punched. Buffalo is legit as you said, and one could argue that game was stolen at the end by the guys who throw yellow flags.

IMO the two Niners losses are the only black marks thus far this season. Division games, inferior opponent.
I was just going to say. Miami may not have a stellar offense but that D is no joke. 8 win team after starting what, 1-3?

And as much as I hate the damn 49er's if they didn't have the worst injury luck in the league this year they woud likey be right in the mix.

And teams also run on them a lot since they're usually losing. Them being sixth in YPC allowed considering how much teams run and how much they're on the field makes that respectable in my book, especially considering their pass defense is on the opposite end of the spectrum. Either way, it's clear that their pass defense is worse than their run defense so that's how I'd expect McVay to attack them.

I apologize as I am sure that this has been answered in an earlier post but just to make sure I have this correct the Rams can and would still win the NFC West Title even if they lose to the Seahawks (Which, They WON’T!) if the Rams beat the Jets and Arizona AND the Seahawks lose to both the Redskins and 49’s?

Thanks in advance for clearing/confirming this up for me!!!

Couldn't have happened to a nicer group...As far as I'm concerned they can eat a big bag of dicks !!!

Yep. Jets' strength is up front on defense. But they stuggle badly vs the pass. IMO the Rams will test them a ton on the edges and our TOP should be dominant.

Main thing for us is gonna be finishing drives. And of course limiting dumb shit that gives a lesser team hope, i.e. turnovers.

I thought the WFT had a slight chance of pulling an upset here, but with Alex Smith out I don't think Haskins can handle the job.. Seattle going down would be large for the RAMS ... Of course the any given Sunday axiom is always in play...There's always the chance that Haskins might have an epiphany and turn into a NFL QB for a day...Not holding my breath though...

Well, if Colt McCoy can "engineer" a win, dont see why Haskins cant

Well, in your scenario they'd finish 11-5 and Seahawks 10-6 so yeah. Pretty sure they could beat Washington and lose to 49ers and Rams would still win division

Well, I totally messed up my question! I really meant to ask if the Rams beat the Jets & Cardinals and the Seahawks beat the Rams and either the Redskins or 49’s but lose their other game which would put both the Rams and Seahawks at 11-5 and (I think they have split their two games) WHO would win the NFC WEST?

Sorry about my messed up/confusing question!

I think life will be a lot simpler IF THE RAMS WILL JUST WIN THEIR NEXT THREE GAMES!!!
