:woozy:This can't be true.

Way too many bobbleheaded talking heads had the Rams as fourth place in the NFC West.

I don't want to jinx it, but come on, there's really no way we lose to the Jets. I doubt even they want to win LOL. How about we ice this one by half time, and start seeing what our backups can do? Some interesting things we could try:

- find a punt/kickoff returner (this is serious)
- let Van Jefferson loose - see what he can do against the Jets so-called CBs
- hold a kicking contest? activate MacGinnis and alternate him and Gay (mostly joking, or am I? )
- creative use of Wolford as an option QB

Heck Vanderbilt just made history by having the 1st female score a point in NCAA D1 Football history
Why not 1 up them by starting one of the cheerleaders at QB?
Oh sure they might only score 20-25 points that way, but its The Jets, shouldnt need more than a FG or two

The way I see it is we have already secured a playoff spot. NO way we don't with the tiebreaker being head to head then conference games.

Worst we can be is 9-7, best Viqueens or Bears can be is 9-7 (and only one will be that as they play each other this week). We would be 8-4 confer and Min would be 7-5 and best Chi could be is also 7-5. Boom we win the tiebreaker.

Now win out and one confer loss for both aints and cheeseheads and BOOM #1 seed. Then Covid clears in time for fans in the stands for NFC championship game, first time for fans in the new house.

Congrats RAMS you have made the playoffs, GO GET IT DONE!

I'm not sure why they would do any of those things...I guess that's mostly blue font stuff, but still.........

Maybe we can have Kupp throw some passes. He needs to make up for that one he threw in the turf that one time.

I also think we need to active Aaron Minifridge Donald at the goaline.

Vegas seems to think this game will be close...The avg line is only -17...If I was a bettor it's always hard for me to bet anybody against anybody @ -17...Too many things can keep a game within 17...Having said that, I like the Rams by something like 42-13..

I found out how we could miss out - there's no way it will possibly happen, but here it is:

Rams, Cardinals and Vikings finish 9-7 (Bucs and Seahawks better, so these three teams are fighting for two playoff spots).

The first tiebreaker applied is division - in this scenario, our division record would be 2-4, while the worst the Cardinals division record could be is 3-3. So since that tiebreaker is applied first, we're out. Then the Vikings would have common opponents over Cardinals, so we wouldn't be able to be compared to the Vikings, even though we would have the tiebreaker over them due to conference record. I never thought about it at the time, but it calls back to 2004.

The Saints beat us head to head that year, and the Rams/Saints/Vikings all finished 8-8. Rams got in, Saints were left out. Must have been the same type of logic applied (albeit not divisional) to where even though they beat us, they were left out.

If there are 3 teams I think you have to use the same for all. In other words you can't choose 2 to eliminate one. If there are 3 teams I think it is conference. Either way does not matter as we are not going to be 9-7.

When McVay rolled in he said he could rebuild them. Better. Stronger. Faster. They are the Six Billion Dollar Rams!

Compare the Rams 2020 schedule with GB, NOLA. The Dolphins and Bills are no joke. IMO we are the best NFC team. IF our offense and ST really gets humming, watch out.
