Losing the Super Bowl to the Patriots the way we did is apparently causing some of the talking heads to theorize that the Rams were exposed – charlatans if you will. Just yesterday on the local sports radio here, it was put forth that Billy Bellyache has shown the rest of the league how to beat the Rams. They waxed on about teams now having a blueprint (courtesy of Billy) to shut down the Rams offense.
Poor Sean has lost his mojo, and we are now a one year wonder. Hogwash! At this moment in time, I’d be willing to bet that Sean has already watched so much tape of that game, that he likely has committed every snap of that game to memory. True the Patsies had a good game plan and we did not have an answer on that day. That Day!
Their plan was to take away our running game and make Goff beat them. It worked. Does anyone here believe that Sean McVay is incapable of adjusting? I believe he already has and will implement those adjustments as needed.
Notwithstanding the departure of 2 starters on our O-line, along with the questions about Gurley’s knee, I believe we will be a better team this year than last year. Our defense should be better, and our offense should be more potent as well. Kupp is back, Everett is improving, and I expect Goff to be sharper with another year under his belt – as in going through his reads faster. Every year the game will slow down for him a bit, along with our other younger players on both sides of the ball.
Oh yeah, and there’s that Henderson guy as well. He’s going to be loads of fun for the rest of the NFC west to defend.
