Seattle lost more than any other NFCW team in Frank Clark, Baldwin, and a half-season of Earl Thomas. If a team's going to challenge us in our division, it'll be the 9ers taking what would have to be a massive next step under Shanahan.

What he just said is the most insanely idiotic thing I have ever heard. In no point in his rambling, incoherent response was there anything close to resembling a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having heard it. I award him no points...and may God have mercy on his soul.

Another thing the article said is that although the Seahawks lost Baldwin they loaded up on WR in the draft. So what? Rams draft picks this year and last do not count?

Been away for a few months. Nausea from the super bowl had me taking a step back.

Naturally, I figured the media would pile on the Rams. And they have. One year wonders? What was 11-5 in 2017? Was that part of the wonder?

Look. I can’t expect 13-3 and a trip to the bowl every year. But this team is frankly underrated. Rams will find more threats in the backfield. Henderson will be a weapon. Brown is back. CJ Anderson was picked off the scrap heap. He became a star because of mcvay. Oh yeah, some guy named cooper kupp will also be back. The guy who was perhaps their best receiver. Plus their defensive backfield is going to be legit this year and their edge pass runs better.

I think the super bowl hangover is legit. But I feel the way they lost that game will
Put a chip on their shoulder this year. Media only adding to it. O line will have to prove themselves. No doubt there.

Rams have had a plus point differential of 292 in 2017-18. They’ve basically annihilated mediocre to bad teams. Just an FYI that’s a f’ing dominant point differential. Fluke teams win a bunch of close games and that isn’t repeatable.

If this defense plays as well as I think they will, the Rams are going to run the table. And I'm talking "72 Dolphins watching their games" type of running the table.

How do these guys get away with writing BS without even doing a modicum of research? Had he done so he would have seen that this FO has a plan to build the team and sustain it for the long haul. This team has improved dramatically over the last 3 years and this year's team is better than last year's. Last year there were holes and depth issues.

The reason Suh was allowed to walk is because he under performed most of the year. IMO Gaines is an upgrade. I've watched him through his career at UW and when he came out I prayed the Rams would take him. I was over joyed when they did because he's what Suh wasn't. Gaines has a motor that doesn't stop. He doesn't take plays off like Suh does. He understands that it's his job to help free up AD. Suh was supposed to shore up the run D and he simply didn't do that. Gaines is a good run stuffer and takes immense pride in doing so. For those that say Gaines won't bring anything to the pass rush I disagree.

IMO Joyner was overrated. If he was as good as advertised the pass defense would have been better. Weddle is a huge upgrade, and now with Rapp this team will be set at safety for years. They have quality starters and true depth. David Long is a huge upgrade over Troy Hill. Long is a true starter in the making, who plays the kind of shutdown man coverage that Wade wants. Peters better watch out because if he continues to struggle, Long could take his place after the bye which comes at a perfect time in week 9. Safety and LCB were a huge weakness last year but that has been resolved with Weddle and Long.

Mathews is a huge upgrade over Barron, how can anyone dispute that? Kiser has yet to play but the coaching staff is very up on him. Mathews will allow them to ease Kiser into his starting role. They will have Fowler the entire season. IMO Fowler was a steal for only a 3rd and 5th round pick. They already had multiple 3rds as compensatory picks. JFM really flashed last year and out played Brockers.

Authors ignore that both Allen and Noteboom played last year, and played well. Noteboom was stellar in preseason and in his full game with the 49ers. So where do they get off saying both are untested? Sullivan's play began to slip and it's a reason he's still unsigned.

The offense will be better and expanded with the drafting of Henderson. He adds a real threat both as a jet sweep RB but as a RB in the flats of Goff to dump off to is needed.

At TE Higbee is solid and the emergence of Everett now makes TE a legitimate weapon that needs to be accounted for.

This team is being built for the long run. It's an elite team no one really wants on their schedule. Most of all it's being built to be sustainable. Anyone who knows how to evaluate a football team can see that. Starters and most of all depth has improved every year for the past 3. This team is being called one of the most talented in the NFL from top to bottom with no weaknesses. But these jerkoffs say this team will decline? Maybe they should name the team that they think is better and let us rip it.

If the Rams regress from being a 2 year wonder it would only be because of a rash of devastating injuries. McVay has 0% of being a 2 year wonder.

People asked last offseason if McVay was a one-year wonder and if he had been figured out. The answer was a resounding no. You can't ask the same question again this offseason. He, by definition, cannot be a one-year wonder. The guy is just a fucking wonder, period.

Unfortunately, I doubt this will ever happen. McVay will play the back ups once the #1 spot in the playoffs is cinched, and that means the last game might be a gtd. “loss.”

And the last game is against the Cardinals, our reserves may be better than their starters
