So you see nothing wrong with first half opining like.....
"these guys are blowing it. They didn't prepare. They took _______ lightly. They don't deserve to win"
And then when they win
"awesome performance. Way to turn it around! These guys really woke up in a hurry. Wonderful".
It's assinine IMHO. And that's just an opinion. But in my original post (or complaint as you will call it), I've pointed out I've seen that type of behavior in team situations. They strike out....or fumble....or fuck up and they bury their head up their ass until the other guys bring the W, then they celebrate like they that's okay. Like that's a good team mate. Or in this case, a serious fan who cares so much. It's behavior that is abhorrent IMHO. But that's just me. I look at sports as entertainment, an enjoyment we get from rooting. Others behave as if it's life and death. IMHO, in reality, they feel entitled, like they should never suffer trailing on the scoreboard or in the standings, so they get pissed. How dare they not play well when I'm rooting for them. How dare they not finish first when I've spent lots of money being fan all these years. Like I said, IMHO, assinine. But I have to LMFAO at people who defend that behavior.
So you need someone to proclaim they're an expert? Okay, sure, whatever.
Not going to name any names...but overly negative posters decay the value of their own words.
It does not garnish respect ..in fact does the opposite.
Really, it's simple. I (and others like me) prefer to enjoy the games. Some others prefer to rant and rave, whine and complain. Hey whatever. What's that saying?????...... if it weren't for optimists, pessimists wouldn't know how happy they weren't. Whatever blows your skirt up or floats your boat. Scream and yell till the cows come home. Just don't have a stroke!!!Man society really has become soft.................................I understand political views a lot better after reading posts like this, then again sports fan forums are the exact same content as political forums.
Using power words to bolster your opinion just makes me roll: "Asinine and abhorrent" classic!
I could spend hours debating and wasting my breath because you are not unique in your beliefs, so I'll just say: "Welcome to Earth!"
thank you for the cool headed response !!!Really, it's simple. I (and others like me) prefer to enjoy the games. Some others prefer to rant and rave, whine and complain. Hey whatever. I agree.... and it can be frustrating, especially when the team is struggling against a 3-14 team, and have literally blown four other games.... So for some it's just a build up of frustration. I was madder than a hornet in the 3rd quarter of last game, and if I had been alone I would have broke the screen on my iPhone from typing so damn hardThe problem with that is not everyone negative is posting for your feelings on subjects. They vent their frustrations on a private forum so that they don't do it in real life. The fact that there are people that can't take negativity in a sports fan forum is the real issue.
I know, it sucks!!! If it weren't for those damn games we blow, we'd be 17-0 every year and nobody would be talking about the 72 Dolphins!!!! Wow, mad enough to break your iPhone???? I got so mad when Arizona took the lead, that I almost kicked my fish. Now that would have been a mess!!! Fortunately, Arizona kicked off and the Rams had the ball so I was distracted.I agree.... and it can be frustrating, especially when the team is struggling against a 3-14 team, and have literally blown four other games.... one of these games I'm going to jump in there. The chat room is where the party is at!
I gotta admit I find this thread fascinating just from a psychology standpoint. Some of us enjoy the GDT and some of us are extremely annoyed by it.The GDT is absolutely pathetic. It's actually at the point where we need 2 of them. One for the current thread that is full of toxic waste. And one for people that want to enjoy chatting with fellow fans and can be critical but not be cringe worthy.
I know everybody is entitled to their opinion but if somebody says that, clearly they don't know WTF they're talking about.Yes. It blows my mind that there are fans who talk about getting rid of McVay. They must have forgotten what the pre-McVay decade felt like.
They are football fans ... they are Rams' fans ... they are ROD brothers ... they are entitled to their opinions... there are fans who talk about getting rid of McVay.

I don’t think he’s advocating censorship. It sounds more like he’d just like certain posters to give it a rest some times. Maybe mind their Ps and Qs and give our coaches a little benefit of the doubt BECAUSE THEY’VE EARNED IT!Sorry man, just how I feel about it. You opened that door.
Quickest way to ruin cameraderie is to weaponize sensitivity. Good intentions, but bad results.
I have exited those threads too at times. But censorship is usually the worst management tool to handle it.
Sadly, this is true during most games. I too, however, wish it wasn’t the case.Going into a GDT was your first and most significant mistake.
