The way the artist made it, there's probably an implied blue outline around the horn that also goes through it. Since it's on blue it's not seen, but I get why they did it that way. It's just the art style... and adding a yellow line there throws it off.
Yeah I get what they were doing but I still think connecting it would make the 3D pop more and not throw it off more IMO. I basically see it as an incomplete 3D render in some ways, but honestly I'm ok with it. I was just thinking out loud and posted it here lol

I spent three years on the USS Dwight D Eisenhower CVN-69 , you usually don't wanna be walking through the mess hall when they make turns like that..............lol

The NFL finally got more lenient in jersey numbers. Always loved the off numbers that WRs had, like Harold jackson's 29. Biletnikoff's 25 and Branch's 21 too. Just looked cool and then they restricted them because the lame excuse was it would confuse the refs. They're already confused. NFL should've given D-lineman the 80s back again. And I'm betting that Woods gets his #2. Jalen will have to figure out what he wants instead of 2.
Sucks that the player would have to BUY the remaining stock of the old number.

Would be an amazing charity giveaway/raffle, tho!!!

Now you givin' me flashbacks with those maroon ones...those are the ones I had. I also think I got some green ones...which I hated!

WITH the "reinforced knees"... I still maintain that those Toughskin knees are better than modern day Kevlar...

Also, THANK GOD my golf-loving dad didn't put me in these Toughskins...

The next question is whether you got those thick corded cuordaroy pants? They almost had a velour look and feel and I think they sold right next to the tough skins!

The new colors aren't even accurate to their own standards. "Sol" is supposed to be a golden yellow. It's one of the colors on this website.

Instead the yellow on the uniforms is almost greenish. I call it "rubber ducky yellow."

So lame. The Rams should get their money back and start over.

Thanks for posting this!

This has been a gripe of mine. The colors they advertised are actually pretty legit. Then you watch them live and they look almost neon. I like the sol yellow. Hate the one they are actually using.

Um... were we friends in Elementary school or something b/c it seems like you know what I wore during those years? Like not even kidding, you've nailed my wardrobe from those times.

The Rams had an iconic uniform, wore it in 4 Super Bowl appearances, great colors and did not have
1. a freakin broken horn
2. a penis for a emblem
3. a f#@kin broken horn
4. colors that appeared to need washing when they were brand new

below are some damn fine lookin Horns an and a cool uni, one worn in 4 separate Super Bowl games

Am I the only one who hates trucker hats? The mesh is always cheap, it means those hideous plastic snap bands in the back and overall they just look cheap.

Also, that hat patch looks so poorly done.

Agree with others that it looks hideous. truly gross.
But they go so well with a wifebeater and a can of Bud I feel the need to wear them.

Every new design keeps getting further and further from Fred Gerhske's original depiction of rams horns. What we have now I have to squint to see (kinda like looking at a Picaso painting) to imagine a simalarity to a rams horn.

To me, of all the changes they've made to the Rams uniforms, what they've done to the horns is the worst.

The Rams were the first team to put a logo on their helmets, a first, and it should have stayed just as Gehrske painted it, if only for historical pride.

Blasphemy!

Pretty safe guesses. We all had to wear that shit as kids. Keds and Wallabees shoes too. Growing up as kids in LA, you pretty much had Sears and Sears unless you were a rich kid.

And who doesn't remember that zip zip zip as you walked along in your new cords.

When I first got station on the Eisenhower , it had just come out of Dry Dock in Newport News

we took her out for a spin , and tried to break her , no aircraft , no weapons on board , so she was running pretty lite , remember alot of sailors walking around carrying empty coffee cans

but we did that a few times after as well , and being a Aviation Ordnanceman , we had ALOT !!!! of bombs we had to make sure were secure first

seems like I remember we always did it at night with the lights off

carrier speed , they basically just always say 35+ knots , the + usually stood for , + a whole lot more

wow...guess you're right.

Those Wallabees gave me some flashback vertigo. I wanted those, but my 'rents wouldn't buy them.

I also remember my first pair of Vans. Felt like a big kid...
