Hey @Synthetic you are most welcome here. Stick around and talk NFL stuff with us. You have a home here.
There you go. I use FL Studio 20, Nexus 2, EZ Drummer 2, a Korg M1 plugin, and a long list of other software. I have a 62 Gibson 12-string, a Les Paul copy, a crappy Chinese bass, and an old Yamaha synth. I'm an old guy so I tend to listen to, write and record mostly in the genres of classic rock, and prog rock. Music brings us all together no matter what team we root for or at least it should.
Thanks for the kind words, I play music too.
I use a Fender Mustang digital modelling amp that I got dirt cheap for 200 dollars a few years ago (definitely worth the price if you are on a budget and can't shell out serious cash for the big stuff). I use that for recording and sessions when I go jam with some friends. I mainly run a clean channel of the Twin Reverb and Deluxe Reverb along with a tubescreamer pedal for slight distortion and some extra effects with reverb and delay to give it a little bit of juice. It had some really neat distortion channels that are worth using for heavier style playing.
My two main guitars are a 2013 Mexican Fender Strat and an older Gibson Les Paul Studio that I've slowly been putting a bit of work into (upgrading pickups, tuners and fixing up the pots). My Mexican Fender has been a great guitar, really worth every penny as I couldn't afford a more expensive model at the time. It still has the same stock ceramic pickups which I strangely fell in love with. They are twangy and bright, but have a good mid-range which works perfectly for doing Classic Rock and 80's Pop stuff.
FL Studio is nice. I really need to get a new synth station but I don't have the money right now. Every time I have had the money, I end up sinking more into my Les Paul and upgrading it. The Les Paul has been useful for playing leads/solos and heavy rock.
