@El caliente Sorry about your loss.
I just was reading through and wanted to post this and pose this question. Say that both Ram infractions were committed. Well then in a world where that play was called right we still would have had offsetting penalties and replayed the down.
Here is hands to the face of A.D on that same "No Call" nullifying the play.....

That would be a facemask personal foul since he grabbed it and turned Donald's head. But yeah, regardless, that's offsetting penalties.

Totally sick of this narrative that if that PI gets called it is a definite win to the Saints.

Part of the appeal of this sport is that anything can happen on any given play.

Was it likely that the Saints would win if that gets called? Yes the odds would have been stacked in their favour - so there was a high chance, a probable chance - but that does not indicate a definite win - many of us have watched the game long enough to know that. There was also a high chance of a Saints win following their ensuing FG and then them winning the coin toss in OT.

There was also a chance that if the PI was called that Payton would have called a pass play as he did on the previous set and it would have been intercepted by Johnson and run back for a TD. There was also a chance that during this play fifty-five Saints fans would have died simultaneously of WIA (Whistle Ingestion Asphyxiation).

Yeah it was the one call because the Saints blasted us for 47 yards rushing and 290 yards total offense in an overtime game. Not to mention the Rams had 7 penalties for 64 yards compared to the Saints 3 for 20.

At least three missed face mask calls on the Saints and two Saints players stomping on a Rams player. Reynolds and Goff both got stomped on by a player who jumped in the air and purposely landed on Rams players. Not to mention the delay of game penalties that were not called on the Saints. Factor those in and the Rams are up 17 before that alleged non call pass interference.

El caliente has been banned. Having a different opinion here at ROD is fine but no one, and I mean no one, is going to be allowed to rain on our parade over the next two weeks.
