It’s true. I imagine we will trade off some picks to move higher.
Didn’t you trade this year’s number 1 for Davenport anyway?

That drop was insane, and game changing for sure.This.
What seems to be forgotten in all of this (and if its been mentioned on ROD, apols, I haven't seen it) is the dropped TD early on by the Saints TE. Arnold I think his name was. He had it and dropped it. Saints could've been 20-0 up if he'd held onto that. Game over effectively.
Throw in Payton's strange play calling in the last 2 mins and you have a team that is just as responsible for their loss as the refs were.
Yes, it was a horrible non-call and everyone here would be rightly ticked if it had happened to the Rams but let's not forget that they lost that game as much as the refs lost it for them.
That’s why I am saying that we will trade off some players to get higher. We will be crafty for sure.Didn’t you trade this year’s number 1 for Davenport anyway?
I get your frustration and I'm sorry that the saints lost that way, but we can agree that the saints should've buried this game will before that moment, right? It’s because there were plenty of no calls going the Rams way as well, just none as egregious as that last one.
Sure
Agreed, and Asshole Face’s clock management rivaled that of former LSU HC Les Miles.I get your frustration and I'm sorry that the saints lost that way, but we can agree that the saints should've buried this game will before that moment, right?
honestly - what a whiney, entitled fanbase.
Acting like you are the 1st team to get a bad no call.
Boo-freakin-hoo.
They happen in big games ALL THE TIME.
Rams didnt win because of no calls and the Saints didnt lose because of one.
I know the sting hurts, but I was surrounded by who dat nation for this game, in Baton Rouge - what a poor us cry fest.
The Rams had to play their asses off to overcome your sketchy "home field advantage" ("home field malfunction" would be more appropriate) and they ended up winning because the Rams O, the D and the STs made more plays for 3 of 4 quarters and nailed a 57 yarder after Brees INT.
That is WHY the saints lost.
They also had a no-call that hurt them. so freaking what? Take a number and get in line. It happens every game. Sadly, Saints fans think they are the only ones with something special. When Asshole Face isn't using his mouth to make an icehole its because he is talking crap.
Understood. Cheers mate .I don't think this is Payton's last post season run.Agreed, and Asshole Face’s clock management rivaled that of former LSU HC Les Miles.
I for one just hope those refs never see an NFL field from any view other than the stands.
Sure, it was bad. All fans of all teams can point to a bad call and make it the reason for a loss. BUT. Did the refs let the Rams get into FG range at the end of regulation to tie it? Did the refs make Brees force a duck that got intercepted in OT? And did they let the Rams get into FG range to win it? Y’all had every right and chance to win after that call, but I guess they didn’t want it bad enough. It’s because there were plenty of no calls going the Rams way as well, just none as egregious as that last one.
I feel you. The players now are too big, too fast and coached so well that middle aged men as referees cannot see everything and call every penalty. If they did, there might a flag on every third play and nobody wants to watch a game like that. Someday the game will be mostly officiated by people watching screen and penalty flags will be shot from t-shirt guns by remote control. Sounds like fun.Agreed, and Asshole Face’s clock management rivaled that of former LSU HC Les Miles.

No, they did pass in first down. Every Saints fan is wondering that (right after they are wondering how two refs blew the PI). Make no bones about it, that pass on first down was boneheaded, but the Saints needed yardage if they were going to win the game with a FG.why the Saints were passing with under 2 minutes in the game being in postition to burn the clock and kick the game winner escapes me. And it wasnt just the no-call play either..they passed on 1st down that series I believe

Should have burned clock and the timeouts on first and second down by running the ball. Then if you have a 3rd and long you make a safe throw. That way, worst case scenario, the rams are down 3, with no timeouts, and under a min left.
Thats what a smart coach would do, luckily we were playing the saints and Payton showed his true colors.
And good luck moving forward. If there is one thing we all know about the Pats it’s that you need to keep your head on a swivel, because they will do whatever it takes.El Caliente. Thanks for coming back in. Your posts have been civil since you've been here and I respect the way you have represented your team. I wish the call wouldn't have happened and the game could have been universally accepted by everyone. (I wish NCR would have looked for the football and simply intercepted the underthrown ball and took it back the other way.....). But that is football. We've had our share of non calls and bad ones through the years. That revelation doesn't make yesterday any easier to swallow. But I'm pretty sure your team will be back, w/ a vengeance next year. But thanks none the less. Please feel free to drop by w/ your thoughts. We do enjoy seeing behind the curtain now and then from other team's fans viewpoint.
