I was hollering on that delay of game that they missed with the play clock. There was another one earlier but they ended up punting anyway. Refs missed one that hurt them but if they called the game correctly the others woulda had us winning in regulation.

It is so sweet to see them giving up on the NFL because the officiating sucks. I was surprised they didnt throw a flag, but they were consistent which is all we can ask for. They missed a few facemasks that would have cost the saints the game had they been called, so they let the teams settle it. The saints benefitted most from the officiating the first 57 mins and the Rams benefitted most in the final 3 mins. A flag would have sealed the game, but the no call did not take the saints out of position to win. The saints D gave up the tying FG and Brees threw the int that put the Rams in position to kick the game winning FG.

I thought they were against the rules too. It DID sound like they got stopped about half way through the game. But they were freaking annoying as hell and I have to think they created some confusion at first.

I was reading the Aints board, and not a SINGLE post gave any credit to the Rams or any of our players, or anything. It was entirely 100 percent bitching about a non-call.

You can never blame the outcome of a game on a single play. When Natson fumbled the punt at the end of the Phil game it was unfortunate and untimely but it was only 1 play. The Rams misfired on a dozen+ plays prior to that contributing but not causing the loss. Same rationale on the PI play in the Saints game. How many misses did the Saints have prior to that play contributing to their loss.
Not to mention the Aints' COACHING STAFF blowing whistles behind play sheets. I mean c'mon, really?
They're going to have a loooong offseason roasting about this loss to a young Rams nucleus. And I hope Asshole Face gets used to it, because there's more comin in the future while he's lookin for his next QB.

That call influenced the game it didn’t decide it. The play that happened after that play determined the winner! These teams went to OT and the Saints got out played! Why aren’t the Saints players saying, we got the ball first and the Rams D took the ball and Greg the Leg sent your asses home!
