My whole issue is such a short time after everybody around here was concerned about Tua's health and mental well being after the concussions people are jumping to conclusions about Akers and his well being. We know it's not play related or McVay wouldn't have kept running him out there remember Hendo and Brown had no carries last week. If Akers performance was an issue this isn't how that game plays out. Hendo had more snaps than Akers but didn't run the ball that really doesn't sound like a coach that's tired of Akers on the field.
When we don't know what the issue is I just find it very shitty people are trying to trade him and celebrating getting rid of him potentially instead of thinking about the player especially as I said so soon after all the concussion issues and worrying about players. When it's Akers right while we have a 5 or 6 page thread about people shitting on the guy on the field we're treating him like this. Let the situation play out all this speculation just doesn't sit well.
I appreciate that your coming from a place of concern for the player. I respect that.
I just happen to think that the issues here aren't about physical or mental health, but are about relationships in the locker room and Akers approach.
I'll refer to Jourdan's description of Akers returning to practice the same day Henderson came back.. she's referred to it more than once and she doesn't do that kind of thing unless there's something actually there.
There was this..
Cowherd says this at the beginning of this video. Has this really been reported? View: https://youtu.be/B4sSVnHewrQ

I've been a HUGE Akers fan.. and I have nothing but good will toward him.. but if it's not working, it's not working. When I saw him out yesterday for personal reasons.. .I had a feeling and was anxious to hear if he was at practice today.
It's a professional sport.. they need a player at the position he plays who is effective. I'm not willing him ill, I'm willing my team better.
