This just seems like a really stupid move on Steelers part. Fields isn't the best passing but he still has 10 touchdown between passing and rushing and only one turnover. Fields is young and can try and build with. Wilson is old and been useless for several years now. I don't get it. Unless they are really worried about the 6th they traded turning into a 4th due to 51% play time. But that would be dumb if they're basing their decision on that.

Indeed.
I wonder how short Wilson's rope is...

Lol, I was going to post this in the thread when we traded him to the VIkings but found out that one got locked because people can't be adults. So guess I'll put here.

Just to add to this trade. Kevin O’connel & his LOVE for Cam Akers!!
He is back with him for a 3rd time !

Also WES PHILLIPS is underrated!! He is a coach that seems to get overlooked in Sean Mcvays coaching tree.

Also it looks like this trade really helps the Vikings to get ahead of the THURSDAY NIGHT game against The Rams.

When Wilson was the #1 Tomlin said they had a package for Fields. It wouldn't surprise me if Fields gets a good number of snaps.

Jamal Adams wants to steal money from another team.

How about Mark Barron 2.0?!?!

Former high pick Strong Safety moved to ILB.

Of course I am kidding; and don’t think it is a possibility but I just hate the Rams’ starting off-ball-LBs.

Not the guys. Reeder and Rozeboom seem like great guys. They are just well bellow-average NFL starters, in my opinion.

One of the top 3 or 4 worst trades ever and definitely up there with one of the worst contracts.
Plus, with the two 1st round picks and the 3rd rounder acquired for Adams, the Jets drafted Garrett Wilson and Alijah Vera-Tucker (trade-up, using one of the #1s and the #3).

Meanwhile, Adams had 22 Sacks in his first four seasons (three with the Jets); and has exactly zero sacks since then (granted only 25 games in four years). He also had 7 Forced Fumbles and 4 Fumble Recoveries in his first four seasons, with Goose-eggs in the most recent four years.

New York fans could not believe Joe Douglas got so much in return for Adams who, despite three Pro Bowls and some All Pro honors was never good in coverage or as an open field tackler while playing with the Jets. Adams' strengths were as a strong run-defender and blitzer; and he absolutely lit-up receivers and ball carriers when he could get to them.

I jokingly-posted the other day that Adams could be a Rams' pick-up as a Mark Barron 2.0.
