Good season ended on sour note.
Should be a better team next year, but it’s not a given. The sad part is they could’ve beat anyone in the NFC , especially when GB has to go to SF next week. I knew it was over when we punted. Pissing timeouts away eventually bites you in the ass. Probably would’ve give up another first down anyway. Stafford and Puka played great ,but the D couldn’t make a play.
Can’t say much about the refs , when they suck every game.
What could’ve been. One last FUCK for the year , and it’s over.

Fuck the refs.

Not a great season ending.

Proud of our team that got robbed.

If you think otherwise then fine. Go root for the Lions you altruistic peeps, (nice)

Feeling heartbroken the morning after a tough loss. Its hard not to put this one on the refs. That said the loss takes nothing away from the effort and heart this team played with over the last eight games.

They left it all out there. Much respect.

If Morris takes a HC job, go get B Staley back as our D Coordinator
The shine is definitely off of Staley’s coaching career as his defense was terrible with the bolts. He had plenty of proven talent so why did they underperform? Who knows what you get with him?

I really thought there was a rule against going against the knee on a tackle.
Players don’t like it at all, you notice Stafford had some words with the guy. It was a big deal when it happened to Gronk and there was talk about making it illegal. But a DB will say he has no chance to tackle a guy who has 50 lbs and a head of steam on him without taking out his legs.

Damn. What a crappy finish. We were driving for the go ahead score.

I am proud of this team. Bummed we didn’t finish that last drive.

The bullshit hold kept us from trying a 51 yard field goal. Of course with Maher - well I gave that a 50 50 shot.

And then for a PI against Puka that wasn't called - well the refs had it in for us on that drive and a few others drives in the second half as well.

If you would have told most of us that we were going to score 23 before the game.

We'd have said that's not enough.

Morris should have been turning up the pressure from the first snap. That’s the best way to beat Goff. His accuracy goes out the window I was disappointed in the prevent look yo start the game.

I have no well wishes toward Joseph Kirby. He single handedly changed my rooting interest.

It was a fun season. I’m sad it’s over.

We did say 30 points and if the refs would have called OPI when they should have (clear as day), we are set up for a FG at least and maybe more. It's true to say the refs adversely affected the game.

Yeah not terrible in that context but the Rams I believe held the ball for most of the last 2 or 3 quarters. I’d have to look at the TOP.

It seemed our best defense was us possessing the ball.

We needed better control at the LOS in the first half. They did whatever they wanted. It was bad.

Their D got stops in the red zone and key stops in the second half.

I like Morris and our guys but they were better.
No they weren’t. They were better for a half. The rams were better in the second half. Stafford was better than Goff. Puka was better than St. Brown. The only thing that the Rams couldn’t overcome was the refs.

I just want to say how much I appreciate having Stafford as quarterback. He is truly a special player. I don't know how long he plans to play but I'll enjoy having him for as long as we do. He won't be easily replaced.

Amen.

How that hit Kerby Joseph made on Higbee isn't considered dangerous play is completely ridiculous. That rule needs to be changed before next season.
If not changed it needs to be enforced better by fulltime officials that are rated and scored on their jobs like the rest of us not just given a free pass. If I did perform well on my job, I got my ass chewed out and if my performance did not improve, I was terminated. It should be the same for these sorry arse incompetent boobs.

I wish I could agree with you on this. But I feel protective of the defensive side in regard to how difficult a job it is to tackle in today's league. Feels like banning low tackles would make defenses much worse.

For myself I've always said once this league gets to full flag football, which feels inevitable in this age of fear and nitpicking, that I'll be watching something else. Still feel that way. So again wish I could agree because I'm sick for Higs on this one.

I agree that tackling is hard enough as it is, but there is a clear difference between a safe tackle and a dangerous one. That hit yesterday could have ended Higbee's career.
