I'd have Bobby Brown at NT if it were me ...

2023 Draft :

1 - N/A
2 - DL Calijah Kancey, Pitt. or Adetomiwa Adebawore, N.W.
3a - TE Sam LaPorta, Ia. (Ramsey trade)
3b - OT Blake Freeland, BYU (Higbee + 2024 4’th in trade)
3c - CB/S Darius Rush, S.C.
4 - Edge Andre Carter, Army (Van Jefferson + 2024 5’th in trade)
5a - WR Trey Palmer, Ne.
5b - RB Roshon Johnson, Tx. or RB Chris Rodriguez, U.K.
5c - OG/C Ricky Stromberg, Ark. (Comp)
6a - CB Cameron Brown, Oh.St. or TE Zach Kuntz, O.D.
6b - S DeMarcco Hellams, Al.
6c - K Jake Moody, Mi. (Comp)
7a - QB Aiden O’Connell, Pur.
7b - P Michael Turk, Ok. (Comp)
Can't say I'd be upset about this. Kancey lasting until 36 though is likely only occurring in dreams now. Same for Adebawore. I'm not the biggest LaPorta guy, but, I wouldn't be made at him in 3rd. Carter is worth the gamble in the 4th too.

Fix the Oline draft!

Absolutely done seeing the O-Line play like a 4 pillars era Line, time to have a rock solid non injury prone base again!

Don't see this as a draft to plug needs. Snead has said the plan is to go all in again once the Team has entered that window. Rams should just take the best available when their turn comes up.

Well fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it) we have a need at every single position. Name me a position that we don’t have a big need for now &, even more so, for 2024+.

Maybe you could say WR - but even then you can make a case for 2024+ with Kupp age, etc. Same with QB. Only spot we are set at is head coach lol

I am afraid it is in fact a draft to plug needs. Rams are hard to predict but chances are better than average they will move down from 36 and accrue picks to plug roster holes. They simply have more holes than picks.

They're gonna be young and energetic, probably have some wild swings in different areas of production game to game too. But to do anything significant they're gonna need a lot of needs plugged.

And all that aside I would love to see them get an impact player at 36 even if they have to deal someone like Jefferson or Skow plus a second rounder or something to move up a little to ensure that happens. For a McDonald for example, assuming the team thinks he is an impact guy like some of us do, if he gets close I'm fine with that.

Now there is a guy worth a possible trade up. Hate the idea's floating around about trading up for Gibbs or Levis. Will be praying on draft day that he somehow just falls to us though.

I would trade up for Levis, for the record. If he falls low enough I think he is worth the shot because he's the type of talent we normally won't sniff. And it would be ironic too, IMO, given that we submarined his final season with Kentucky by stealing his OC after he lost OL to the draft.

Here's a RB that I am sure McVay is all over. Draft projections say maybe day 3 but this is a guy our coach will play on day one. He demonstrates how good this class is I think. Smooth runner, good vision, excellent contact balance, and has some wheels.

I definitely like Tucker also. His biggest negative is likely his receiving ability. Although he did take a step in the right direction last year, doubling his receptions, so maybe he has it in him.

Yeah, the RB class is ridiculous this year which is even more evidence that taking a RB high should not be in the cards for us.

Edge, CB, and RB appear to be 3 of the deepest positions in the draft, and just so happen to coincide with some of our needs.

He's the kind of guy who will go to a playoff team and come out of nowhere to be a good back. He looks small but his game is definitely good enough for the NFL I think.

Honestly what I like most about him is how decisive he is. There is no wasted processing tick with him he just goes.

Another day 3 RB. Backed up some guy in Texas who's pretty damn good so he's got low mileage too:

Yeah, I don't really love Johnson. He is just meh for me. He doesn't really excel at any one thing. He's likely a power back in the NFL, but isn't that powerful of a runner IMO. There is a lot of backs I'd prefer, though, I'd be fine with taking him late for a backup.
