Watkins is one of those guys that can just show up and play good football. If he only had the heart to be the best, he could have been something.

He‘s admitted publicly football pays the bills but his interests are elsewhere.
Packers needed a 1b receiver to go with Adam's now they don't even have a 1a. They will have to get lucky that their 1st pick pays off this year or their offense will take a serious dive.

I would have thought we would have been on that list. Of course we would have the most wins on it.
Yeah crazy with all our dead cap last year we didn't crack the top 10. Even crazier that a team is on there back to back years and isn't getting any better in Carolina.

Rogers is gonna eat Watkins ass day one. Then he's gonna sulk about his shit weapons and take his passive-aggressive complaints to the media I can't wait.

Can anyone name a CB/S/WR/RB who was over 33 years old that recently got a big deal in FA? I can’t remember any off the top of my head. Being 33+ in a position that relies on speed isn’t ideal because you definitely are slowing down.

Falcons owner has no clue what a good HC looks like. I think that's his biggest problem. Current coach has good x's and o's but looks like the kid who had "kick me" signs on his back in high school. Hard to believe that a roster of grown men are gonna follow him.

What he should do is go get Payton but unfortunately Payton would probably require picks for a division rival. But he could give up picks for him and still come out ahead because at least he'd have a capable leader running his team.

Baker??? The USFL is calling.
Baker's gonna be choking down a big ass serving of humble pie this year. Might be good for him too.

If I'm Arizona maybe I try to buy low on him. Bring him in, let Murray hold out, and try to get the offense going. When Murray ends his little charade open up competition and maybe even have each of them alternate per possession. Because I'm really tired of these prima donna fucking QBs and maybe some competition will do both of them good.

Isn’t Baker going to get paid well to hold the clip board in Cleveland?

Nice way to make a living.

Still, my favorite sports job ever would have been being Jack Haley with the Bulls in the 90's. Never had to play, got a six-figure income to hang with Dennis Rodman and got to watch Jordan 82 times a year from the front-row.

19 mill guaranteed. Deshaun "only" hitting the cap for 10 mill this year, so its somewhat manageable, but if a team is going to trade for him? That's a pretty heavy chunk of change to dole out, considering the team that gets him will be faced with task of engaging an extension

I couldn’t care less about the career futures of either Mayfield or Murray.

And I’m a huge Sooner honk.

If Mayfield got cut, would be interesting if McVay would consider doing the same thing he did with Bortles?

If I recall correctly there was a story when Mayfield came out how he and McVay sat together on a plane, maybe it was to or from the combine. And McVay saying he was impressed with him. Now could have just been coach speak etc.. However the Browns will have to cut him at some point if no one trades for him. Or is his full salary for this yr guaranteed?

If not guaranteed and they release him, I would take him on a cheap one yr deal to be the back up. He is smart enough to know whose team it is and he could see this as a way to rehab his image and to learn from the best.

Also, if Stafford goes down (God forbid) you have a vet back up and worse case you get a solid comp pick down the road when he leaves. Best case is if he gets in a couple games and plays well, maybe you can trade him or you get a real good future comp pick.

Just a thought.

Looks like nearly $19 Million guaranteed.
