Hard to pay a guy top non QB in the league money knowing that durability is already a concern and you are going to put him in a position to take a pounding.

I personally think Deebo is at his peak value and overrated at this point. However, if the 9ers believe they are SB contenders, then that have to keep him. So it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.

I partially agree. As much as I loathe the individual for his carry on, he is a wonderful player and is in no way overrated IMO. Despite the Niner stench, I think we would all like the next 3 years of Deebo on the Rams. He is definitely at his peak now, so no one can complain if wants to cash in on that.

EDIT: I should add that I don't think we should pay him the money he wants but his performance would probably justify it for a more needy team

I'm not a fan of Deebo or his style of shooting his mouth off but the guy is a baller. SF losing a baller is win for us. Hoping he gets moved and there are teams like say the Colts who would look like a real contender adding him. Teams are gonna want him if he's available.

Didn't Kittle want receiver money cause he was so great. I'm not so sure that contract was worth it. Now Deboo is trying the same thing. I think 9ers have seen this movie before and were not impressed. Debo is over playing his hand. I love it.
