The two biggest lies we were told growing up:

We live in a free country, and there's equal justice under the law.

Nothing is free, and if you have money for top lawyers you can get away with murder.

Just gonna say that I’m pretty sure Quinn gets traded to someone at the deadline. Makes ZERO sense for them to keep him if they can get a 3rd or better.

And just my two cents but I’d fire a GM that gave anywhere near a third for his age, injury history and contract.

I have not paid any attention to the Steelers this preseason

Is he any good?
Not really and hasn’t done anything in his three years in the league

A thread titled "NFL Trades, Cuts and Free Agents" has taken a turn.

Although, the thread-title also says "and More".
Agreed. There are hundreds of forums for social and political commentary. This ain’t one of them. Let’s keep it that way. Thx Ramily

He’s the same age Miller was last year and is coming off a season with 18.5 sacks. Hasn’t played fewer than 14 games in last 5 seasons.

See where the Eagles released Jaquiski Tartt.

Part of me would like to see the Rams sign Tartt ... make-up an injury and put him on IR ... pay him for 2022.

I know it's against the rules, and could back-fire but Damn It! I really appreciate that drop. No Blue Font.

And lets be honest people here and look at the rest of what I said please. Salary is a big deal. Last year Von's remaining base pay was $9.7 million of which the Bronco's paid $9 million. It was also the last year of his contract setting us up to reap a 3rd round comp pick the very next year if we lost him.

How about Robert Quinn? Base pay for 2022 of $12.8 million followed by two years of $13 and $12 million cap hits. Night and day when you add in contracts.

And good for Quinn for not having missed more than a couple games in the last few years. Still has a lot of injuries in his past while Von has played every game all but 3 years and missed a year.

There's no comparison between the two. Everybody would have traded last year for Von. I'd be shocked if anybody traded for Quinn especially a 3rd rounder.

Dead cap after the season I about 8 million.
As a midseason pickup, they’d only be responsible for the balance of the season’s salary. And the can negotiate if they really need the cap space.
If he’s healthy, playing well and available…. AND if Rams still need help getting pressure rushing 4…

You just do it.

[www.turfshowtimes.com] NFL roster cuts, trade rumors tracker: All the news from Monday’s whirlwind of moves
What’s happening and how could it impact the Rams?

By Kenneth Arthur@KennethArthuRS Aug 29, 2022, 11:26am CDT

NFL: Denver Broncos at Cleveland Browns
Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports
If the L.A. Rams have any questions at all about Riley Dixon, their options just got a little better on Monday. The Titans and Broncos both released prominent punters on Monday, but that’s not all the news that’s happened or will happen over the course of the day.

The Rams could still want to add outside help for the offensive line, the outside linebackers, and the running backs group headed into the season. Les Snead is one of the most active GMs in the NFL, if not the most active, and that’s help L.A. win a Super Bowl and reach another within the last four years.

So pay attention not only to what the Rams choose to do this week, but what other teams do also. If you see news online that’s not in our tracker yet, feel free to add it in the comments below!
