Deebo's ability to be a runner and receiver is what attracts teams for his services. Rumors say he doesn't want to be used as a running back. If I'm an interested team I make it clear the plan is to use him similar to what the 49ers did. He's not worth highest paid if he's just a receiver. There are better pure receivers out there. I don't see anyone trading premium picks and paying top dollar for a receiver. Question is, if the 49ers don't trade or pay him what he wants does he sit the season?

It says a lot about the team culture when players want to leave and not stay. OBJ has gotten offers but IMO he's waiting to be signed by the Rams who have said publicly they want him. I expect him to be signed after the draft as to not affect their comps. I also expect Michel to be signed for the same reason.

That means their need will be edge (not pressing because they did well with Lewis & Hollins) they have Garrett who looked good in pre-season, CB which would be a developmental position for next year, punter which probably will be Stout or Araiza depending upon if they want another Hekker (Stout) or one to flip field position but who is still developing. At this point it probably will be Stout from what I'm hearing. OG is probably their biggest need after punter but I see that filled in round 4 or 5. The rest are STs and developmental depth type of players.

And he just might....Wilson is gone. Stafford is getting older so we will soon have to find a replacement in the draft or trade for someone else's stud like we did with Matt. The jury is still out on Murray.
