I’ll have to post mine when I get home. My wife says I have a hat fetish even though I rarely wear them.
I'm a Cardinals fan...but I will always have a soft spot for the Pirates because of Clemente, even though they're in our division. Just one of the most wonderful, caring human beings of all time, someone that nobody had a bad word against, and that's not even mentioning how amazing he was as a player.Clemente and gang made me a life long Pirate fan. I always thought of Parker as a gentle giant.
To this point in his career, the answer is "no". He's beginning his 10th season in the NFL (man how time flies!!!!) so he's got time. Fortunately for him, he's playing for a good team. Unfortunately, they just lost both their coordinators. So if they're gonna win anything, it would take a stellar effort from him. I hope he doesn't accomplish it ..... for personal reasons. But in year 10 our very own Matt Stafford hadn't shown he had what it took to even win a postseason game, let alone a Lombardi. That being said, we can look back over NFL history and see many stellar QBs who can't say they had what it took to win a Lombardi....without the Lombardi.I don't think the question with anyone with half a brain is if Goff's been a good QB, it's been if he has what it takes to be a SB winning QB. To lock it in when it comes down to it and the answer to that is NO.
He does have the gut check capability in him to complete a whole season, and the evidence supports that conclusion. As of right now he's comparable to a Matt Ryan, nothing more.
Yeah, the things we'll talk about leading up to camp and the start of the season. What a bunch of slackers! After talking to Ram fans for the last few decades, I think Ram fans see Rams QBs in 3 different decending lights.Welcome to the 2025 Season Goff roast everybody wooooooo!

I am planning a large site update and will be announcing the timing of that soon.Avatar animation: I know we had this before, and I recall something being said as to why we lost it (I forgot) but is Avatar animation ever coming back?
Yeah, Young isn't a bad player, but, he isn't a difference maker yet. That's my prediction: Stewart will replace Young.
I'm really high on Stewart. I like Young but he doesn't create pressure or sacks - he's more of a cleanup guy. And I don't see him developing into more than that.
If the LA RAMS had gotten him seven years earlier there would have been a couple more Lombardi Trophies in the case.Bert Jones was pretty good. Totally forgot he spent his last season with the Rams.
All I'm going to say is , I'm glad we didn't have cell phones back thenI bet you taught @Tano the Strut!

I just went on to CBSSports.com web site to review the Rams depth chart.
Now I realize these depth charts this time of year are often inaccurate, and to take them with a grain of salt. (For example Nate Landman is listed behind dead-man-walking Troy Reeder, and we all know Reeder probably won’t ultimately be starting) But in reviewing the offense something was missing….hmm…no Guard position players. At all. Maybe they are listed under Center, you know like interior lineman? Nope. Dotson, Avilla, etc. omitted from the depth chart.
So I thought huh. Must be an aberration. And I went into the Whiners page. Sure enough. No Guards listed. Check it out yourself.
What morons. Who’s running their site? Kind of a first-world football fan problem. But I’m calling those guys out.
Dummies.
That is all
By all accounts, Hunter is a quick study in absorbing & assimilating offensive details. So he may hit the field quicker and more frequently than most rookie RBs under the McVay regime. As always the key issue for the Leprechaun is the following:
Sean (to Hunter): "If I allow you on the football field in a real game, will Matthew remain healthy with respect to your pass protection efforts? You see, we are trying to complete a successful Super Bowl run here."
I was responding negatively to the use of a Rams bell cow RB. Committed seems the smarter approach. Why ? The Rams are not in that position. If the top guy gets hurt there are 2 other talented guys.
No doubt. Worst thing is as a diehard fan it's not like that shit is going to be worth the money. You probably know more about the Rams than he does. Only thing they can offer is direct info from the team.Sorry, but I gotta bitch again. I can’t stand hitting the link for articleswhere the first thing they do is ask you for more money to read shit that everybody else gives you for free. I had to get that off my chest.
It’s like going to Subway and being asked to give a tip to somebody who merely made a sandwich for me.

There is no such thing as journalistic integrity anymore.
“Henley is currently serving a 41-year prison sentence for trafficking cocaine and attempting to murder the judge and a witness from his trial by hiring contract killers.” Sheesh…!Yeah, I thought Brian Smith was going to be a beast. He was a 6'6' 250 lb OLB out of Auburn... 2nd rd pick. Never did a thing...was as average as his name.
Hawkins tore up his knee in his rookie preseason. Never seemed to recover from it.
Frank Stams was average at best.
Darryl Henley is still in jail I believe.
Aaron Cox had his moments, but basically a Tu Tu Atwell type...just too small.
Gaston Green couldn't break a tackle.
Cleveland Gary couldn't hold onto a football.
What a disappointing mess.
They did have some late round role players/contributors that helped get them to the NFCCG in 89'. Guys like Robert Delpino, George Bethune, Mark Messner, Michael Stewart, and Mike Piel, but it was a missed opportunity.

Is this the narrative around him now?
The great thing about a RB who always gets 3-5 yds / run? He'll hit paydirt if you get close.
I just got Phil Steeles 2025 College Football Preview and was cross checking some of his rankings from his 2022 and 2024 Previews. He had Emmanuel Forbes ranked as his #1 CB going into the 2022 season. Forbes was picked #16 in the 2023 draft, so that was a pretty solid evaluation. It didn't work out in Washington for whatever reason. Rivera's last year and then Quinn's first year might have had something to do with it. But if the kid can play anywhere near his projections (by multiple sources), the Rams have stolen a valuable piece of D.
