Welcome to ROD. Any prognostications you'd like to share on how the game will go?
I think it will be all about defense, what some fans call ugly games. I absolutely love those types of games, I feel like Stanton is in training for the playoffs, and I think your defense will be teaching some valuable lessons tomorrow night. Whoever turns it over less will probably score more type of game.

Aloha from Arizona, I've been a lurker here for a long time, though usually only when our teams are matching up. I recognize some of the names here from other forums. I'm just like every other fan out there, been through the ups and downs with my team, watched a lot of players and coaches come and go, even went through the whole face painting phase. We are both in the toughest division in football, all 4 teams could probably win in the playoffs... except for frisco and I'm very happy to see frisco falling to the back of the pack. Anyways I'll try and keep the smack down, good luck in the game tomorrow, no injuries, yada yada, just wanted to introduce myself.
Yeah - we urge our members to be polite when dealing with fans from another team as long as they are acting in kind. I wouldn't though expect that without a face, your views on other boards won't be quoted unfavorably. We regularly do a "what (insert team) fans are saying" and often jump on some of their statements. It's generally in good fun but don't get defensive if someone picks out one of yours.

All that said, welcome aboard.

Well then. At least we know you aren't really "growing tired of this".

Don't put the Rams down based on record. If you do, you may turn off the TV tomorrow wondering why your team imploded. When in reality, it's because the Rams are a much better team than you believe.

Big fan of those "ugly" games myself. Looking forward to us making the Cards look extraordinarily ugly. :D

Thanks for the welcome man, and no worries about the back and forths, that's what fans do. I'm in your house, I am usually pretty good about being a respectful guest.

Trust me I know the Rams are tough, and it seems like everybody in the media has you guys favored. All I can do is get crazy with the keyboard, and put my team up on that fan visioned misguided pedestal, and hope for the best.

I do as well.

Before our last game against the Cardinals there was a poster from one of your forums who's greatest fear was that Palmer would be injured and that the season would go down the drain. Palmer was injured but Stanton looks like he's filled in well.

The Cardinals O-line has been a surprise having given up a lot fewer sacks than expected. How they open holes for the running game and keep Stanton upright will be the key. Shaun Hill will be tested as well. The last game ended up being a cluster**** for us. We're hoping that Hill will be much calmer and more efficient than Austin Davis was.

Oh come on man! You don't have to totally back down. You won't get banned unless you attack a poster.

But, fair enough...I just hate the record argument. It's obvious we are a different team in the second half of this season.

Yes sir, the Palmer injury dampened a lot of spirits, you guys can certainly relate, it's rough. I'm actually hoping that you guys are at such a high right now, you might just relax a little, take us a little lightly.

Until I get a feel for the place I gotta say all those "go to" things... no I in team, no injuries, frisco sucks, all the things that are completely agreeable.

I'll give you the Frisco sucks comment.

You're good here, man. Debates are always welcome. You'll get plenty of latitude as long as you don't constantly troll or attack a poster.

My Question is after you guys get destroyed tomorrow night are you going to be posting in this thread again apologizing for the one sided views?!!? Lol

I think a football lesson is in order tomortow night by our defense! PP21 and the rest of your D isn't going to have Austin ( I give pick 6's and games away) Davis to bail them out again. Your going to face future Kurt Warner's reenactment Shaun ( beast from the East) Hill.

Enjoy :0)

P.s. Kick the crap out the Whiners and Sea Chickens the next two weeks will yA?!! Lol

I will definitely come in and give congrats, if we get beat down, if it's close, even if we get robbed on a call. But Shaun Hill and Kurt Warner shouldn't even be in the same sentence, and you know this....maaannnn.

Hell I'm just hoping for a decently called game this time. Damn refs have been horrid this year!

Ok look forward to it to seeing your posts tomorrow night and btw our beloved and your beloved Kurt Warner is the man. I wouldn't but anyone in the same sentence with that guy! He's an amazing player, guy, and story.

Yeah if a very physical defense that doesn't back down and hits hard is dirty that I'll take it.

Yea, I think it'll be an ugly game for sure. Rams defense is playing lights out and nobody doubts Arizona's defense. Plus, both teams are starting backup QBs and have some key offensive injuries.

Plus, Thursday Night games tend to be sloppy.
