Also would help if we had fans show up.....I mean Russell Wilson asking for the fans to make noise in our stadium I mean effin WOW is all I can say. Having a crowd is a huge asset that crap doesn't happen in Seattle!!!! This is a young team they need support that was plain embarrisng worse then the actual loss!!!!
That was ugly. I bought 2 tickets for the game and was surrounded by Seahawks fans.

I swear the announcer almost said seahags:rolllaugh:, but far to many points left on the field, bad fumble by Gurley, not a great game by Goff, Watkins, i'm real disappointed with his performance. McVay will have better days at coaching
train
ps Rams didn't deserve to win today
You caught that to? Lol It is Adam Archuelta a former Ram :rolllaugh:

Still wishing Johnson kept running full speed after his interception. I think he had a great chance to get by Wilson and score.

I thought he was running full speed. It looks like it is just half the speed of the rest of the players. When he caught it i thought td. After 20 yards i thought damn he's slow.

I don’t know. A lot to complain about but truth of the matter is that I’m just proud as heck of how they fought to the end after making a million mistakes

It sucks to wake up early to Tailgate only to not get the win. All that work feels wasted but freak it. Had a good time besides the loss. Pretty upset that we didn’t run the ball more. Up 10-0 I thought we had that win in the bag.

Hopefully we bounce back. We have tough game against Jacksonville coming up. Not feeling too good about our offense chance in that one. Goff came back down to earth.

Still feel like this team is a playoff team. Hopefully that holds true in the weeks to come.

While you can'really say that it was the only thing that cost them this game, I think the Gurley mistake not only took a probable 7 off the board, it totally changed the flow of the game...It was a momentum changer in a large way...I really think if that turns into 7, the Rams win pretty handily...

Jacksonville looks better than Seattle. Tough week ahead.

Take care of the ball.

Yea but the Jaguars year has gone:
Week 1: Amazing
Week 2: Shit
Week 3: Amazing
Week 4: Shit
Week 5: Amazing

That might bode well for us.

So when a ball is fumbled before the goal line and goes out of the end zone what would be fair?

If the offense loses possession and it goes out of bounds in the endzone the defense in my opinion should not be rewarded with automatic possession ball on the twenty where else does that occur on the field you can make it so the offense retains possession.... place the ball at the one or if people think that is unfair because players will intentionally bat the ball out by kicking it if they can't fall on it for the td etc on a fumble which happens plenty of times in between the endzones make it so when the offensive player bats it out intentionally he is penalized. The rule basically should be broken down to an intentional bat out by offense is a penalty obviously if the player can't fall on it for a td they will bat it out or try and kick it out etc which would require the change in possession because it was intentional sort of like a delay of game when the puck is put in the stands in hockey intentionally...but on a routine fumble that goes out make it so the offense retains possession place the ball at the one or to make it fair place it at the twenty with no change of possession. If a team drives 95 yds to lose points like that it's silly honestly. Forced fumbles reg fumble etc happen all over the field and any a time the ball is ushered out of bounds intentionally by the offense to retain possession and they do. Endzones rule should be looked at.

Was at game, FWIW:

1) Too many Seattle fans. 60/40 Rams fans. Way too many seahawks fans. Rams not drawing anything like they were last year at the beginning of the year. Tons of empty seats. Rams fans also didn't seem to understand football and would cheer loudly with Seahawks fans when we had the ball on offense in critical situations.

2) John Johnson looks like he can play. Got left out to dry on the Graham touchdown but what do you expect there.

3) Gurley was missing in action. I have no clue why he wasn't in more unless it was a concerted effort to save him from additional touches but sheesh!

4) Goff looked off all day. Inaccurate on a lot of passes. (And I'll admit I was a huge Goff critic but feel like he's proven me totally wrong through four games but this game was ugly compared to how he's played up until this). Still, he didn't show quit and marched us down the field at the end, the pass to Kupp wasn't perfect though and would have been a tough catch. He could have done better there.

5) Our DL may have been playing contain on Wilson but it doesn't look like we have any type of pass rush.

6) Our secondary didn't seem near any of the Hags receivers when they caught the ball. Sure they closed fast but they weren't in the vicinity when the pass got there.

7) Was it just me or did Hekker seem not quite on his game either?

8) There seemed to be a couple neutral zone infractions but Goff didn't take advantage by getting the snap and getting the free play, maybe that's more of a veteran move?

By the book, it was PI. But you're never going to get that call in a desperation situation like that. It just wasn't blatant enough.

There are a couple of positives to take from today.. Our defense played really well I thought... We seem to be turning a corner defensively somewhat..which is a really good thing for us..

the other positive I'll say is that even though we shot ourselves in the foot in a major way throughout the game... Goff and the offense didn't lay down on that last drive..he got the ball down the field and put us in a really good spot to win the game on Kupp's play. Cooper Kupp is going to make a lot of plays for us.... this one came up short...but we ended this game not with another turnover but with a good chance to win a tough game...

the other thing though..

Tavon is done returning punts...period.

4th and 10 you had enough time to run an out route and get that first down. Then the whole playbook opens up for the final play. Bad.
I was thinking the same thing. They ran the same play twice , and threw to kupp twice. Doh

I'm pissed that we blew the game by playing sloppy, inconsistent football. This game was there for the taking. Seattle didn't play that well themselves, but we kept blowing opportunities and giving the ball away. Just so many missed chances to take control of the game. That's not the kind of effort I expected to see, and with McVay having brainfarts in his playcalling, this had shades of Fisher going on. Too bad, because this will most definately change the tale of this season.

The good thing is, I still think, in a longterm view, we're trending up, and the Seahawks down. The players and McVay both have to use this as a learning process. This entire season is mostly about the team and young coach growing together, setting us up for the future. I do believe this team, from next year and moving forward, is going to dominate. Take your lumps, use them positively, and at least there's something to salvage from what was otherwise a trainwreck of a performance.

It's ok fuckin a if you disgrace or disappear or disagree. That's ok. Total tram execution equals fails or clutch the hands on the ball end zone Kupp. Either way many many many hot ass women enjoy and depending doesn't matter. A like or two good for them. Kupp dropped an end zone td that's what I saw. Shit happens. Rams still win NFCw and host playoff game. I called it.

Problems on O exposed, we're likely to see again before the season is over.

Rams needed this one. Schedule only gets tougher from here. Now they're in the unfortunate position of having to go into Seattle and win if they want to win the division. NFC field is crowded, no guarantees to making it as a wild card.

I feel like I have a hangover. How big is this hump that we can never seem to get over . This game felt a lot like last year's Buffalo game when it seemed they were close to getting over it , only to lose a tough game . It just feels like we are snake bit with yesterday's bad luck . Ball touches the pylon and the tipped ball falls into their hands . It's a game of inches and we are do some good luck going forward. I'm afraid this loss will come back to haunt them when it all sorts out come playoff time . They will have to play a lot better to have any chance against the Jags .
