For any of the very old Ram fans here take a look at that running style and tell me who ran very close to the same way?

That run by Pead had a seriously very familiar look to it not seen 35 yrs.......he wore #30?? for the old guys this tube will give you one hell of a rush of great memories...watch this then re watch the Pead run..then tell me I am going senile ...

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4UGSyGZDyU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4UGSyGZDyU</a>

Lawrence Mc Cutcheon 6-1 205 Ok ROD'ers give the bad news am I going blind too?

Loved me some Lawrence McCutcheon back in the day. Not sure about the comparison but I'd be just fine if Pead played at that level.

You're senile, old fellow. It takes one to know one.
McCutcheon was special. On any given play, the whole defense would get multiple shots at tackling him. He was fun to watch. It looked like, the Dgameplan was herd him to the sideline and don't break picket line security.
Any local news on the Menelik' front.

Ok but I am not alone that helps I think my wife keeps me around for her own entertainment its a laughing matter for her...

I recall watching the Rams break out the Jim Bertelsen & Lawrence McCutcheon in 1973 Jim was the HB & Lawrence was the FB. They change positions in 1974. They were both drafted in 1972 in the 2nd & 3rd rounds. Both were light about 200 pounds.

Menelik Watson ? No he is showing up much more in the first round as time gets closer to the draft in 13 days. I still maintain that there is a lot of latent talent not known to many on this young man. What I like about him is he is made to order for Paul Boudreau special abilities. Menelik with PB instruction & guidance could be a major surprise somewhat like Saffold was. Menelik can immediately be a swing OT for the Rams. He has played both OLT & ORT but manned the ORT post for FSU. I see the Rams want to take a long look @ Oday Aboushi ?? he is a strict OLT player does not have a ORT bone in his body IMO?? They also want to look @ Terron Armstead I like him more than Aboushi still more OLT than ORT guy. A OT I like better is Dallas Thomas he is far more right side than left. Menelik & Dallas are my favorite two prospects @ OT for the Ram in my senile one brain cell. If either are there @ #46 better make the play! :bahumbug:
What scares me most about Menelik is that he's a project and he'll be 25 years old before the season starts. That means if he takes a couple of years to get up to speed, he'll be 27 before he can really help us. At that point we can expect what, maybe 3-6 good years out of him? It seems like a waste of a high pick if you ask me. I wouldn't mind spending a first round pick on an OT who was 25 as long as they can play right away. Offensive tackles to tend to stay in the NFL longer, but if he can't start right away you're taking away more time from a guy who is already 25 years old. My thoughts are that when you draft a 1st rounder, you're hoping you'll have someone who can play/be productive for your team for 8-10 years.

That was a great example of what i really believe Pead is capable of, you cant teach those moves..Missing to much time early cost him last season, he'll be our feature back this season

Playmaker you just can't get anything right can you?? Lol

At this point I wonder if he was just trolling. Pretty much everything he posted was wrong. No one can be that wrong, that often..... while claiming to "know what it takes to win in the NFL", without it being a joke. Yeah, I think we got trolled fo sho.

That, or the Rams clearly didn't get it right and don't know what it takes to win in the NFL.
If only they could rent this guy's brain out for an hour or so. Then we'd be all set.

Watch tape, watch highlights. That isn't a first round talent? What is then?

Tavon Austin was #1 on my "draft board". Couldn't be more happy.

Agreed. Stedman Bailey finished runner up in the WR of the year award. We got a great player.
