Was freaking out in the stands with joy at the game sealing fumble and Rams recovery! Mind blowing LOUD crowd with Rams fans out of their minds most of the game. Saw generations of fathers hugging and jumping with their sons with the victory. Truly an amazing event to witness. WHO"S HOUSE? RAMS HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!

I was noticing that too. Hopefully just an aberration. I hope he breaks loose next week. He almost seems disgusted or discouraged.

Well, considering last week he had more yards after contact that actual yards (or close to it...now that i think about it, I can't recall his final tally, but I know he had 52 YAC. Too lazy to look up his total from the 9er game and don't want to chance a gif highlight) ... um... I dunno that he's so much running timid as he's being hit or at least "contacted" behind the line of scrimmage on average on every run. Or at least was. I haven't see the breakdown from this game. It can't have been that much better for the Seattle game.

Point is that Gurley is running hard, but the OL is settling down in pass pro, but they're not blowing holes open for him. That, in combo with the fact that teams are loading up the box for him and simply losing the battle of numbers up front mean that unless they simply blitz the wrong gap, there's very little Gurley can do to break a run.

I mean there have been more than a few examples of guys on the OL being moved back...on RUNS. That just can't happen. We didn't draft hogmolleys like Jamon Brown for them to be moved backwards.

Gurley hasn't been running through holes hard with the kind of pace we got used to last year because he's been conditioned in games to have to adjust to defenders meeting him prior to the hole. That's bad. We don't want him to doubt the hole, we want him to hit it...hard.

I actually think this gets worked out quickly. Of all the issues on offense, this is one I think gets turned around sooner than later.

if you really want that awesome feeling to continue head to a hawks board its amazing reading (and scarily similar to us after a loss ;))

fire the OC
Refs screwed us (theres a few who point out the whole seattle LT "issue")
game was fixed no way the NFL would let LA lose the home opener
yadda yadda

its give me a warm fuzzy feeling see these fans in despair it really does (i think that makes me a bad person but luckily i don't give a shit )

The guy who was consistently (false) starting early against The Mighty Quinn to gain an unfair edge. The refs only called him once! for a false start. They could have and should have called him all day long, even if it was only to see Pete Carroll go bonkers on the sideline. :ROFLMAO:

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw this. He was consistently up and out of his stance a split second before the ball was snapped. It was so obvious

Let's not forget over 90,000 fans in the seats for the opener. :yay:

Gurley is literally the last guy I'm worried about on offense. When he did have a hole he took advantage of it. This will get fixed quickly by Fisher. I think he breaks out vs Tampa Bay.

Great win.
The offense was far ahead of last week's debacle. Yes it still needs improvement, but we took shots down field.

Seeing Carroll flip out repeatedly made my week.

I'll throw one in, about the ref's calls, while we're waiting:

The good thing about this though is it allowed me to watch the game knowing only the final score. I really paid special attention to the background. I rarely watched Russell, but instead watched the line. I would pause and slow mo supposed bad calls to see that while ticky tack, they were valid. I also saw plenty of calls against us that were blatant that weren't called.

see that to be fair he called on it like this guy
The entire thought that the refs/NFL had it out for us today is ridiculous if you watched the 186 false starts by Sowell without them being called.

and this on calling a guy out that said the facemask on Case was bogus

Seriously ? You don't put your hand on the QB's damned head. Period.

Keenum was going fetal and Marsh put his hands on his head. His fingers went inside the facemask area. No, he didn't yank it, but it's still going to be called on damned near everyone. You. Just. Don't. Do. That. Period.

and this one

if you are looking at the refs to blame this loss on, you are looking in the wrong place. There was no aggregiously incorrect calls. Were some ticky tack? sure. Was our lack of being ably to adjust for the blitz every other down more of the cause? Absolutely.

Did lockette pull the DB to the ground? No, but he did grab his arm and pull. That is OPI, like it or not.

There is no NFL conspiracy. I Watched several blatant false starts and offensive holding on our guys not called. As always, it goes both ways. Could you imagine the amount of revenue lost if just ONE ref came out and said the head office told him to favor one team or the other? This conspiracy theory is totally ridiculous. Our lack of offensive strategy coming into the game and inability to realize it and adjust was why we lost. And we absolutely deserved to lose not only this game, but the last one as well. You can only get lucky once in a while. You can't bank on it.

almost makes me detest them as hawks fan a little less,,,ALMOST

I don't know, I feel fairly even keel after the win. Obviously was much better than the previous week and was great seeing the defense back to its old self. But this offense is just disgusting to watch. An absolute joke on the field as is. Was nice seeing them open it up a bit but seems like as soon as you'd see a great play they'd follow it up with a plethora of the same ole horizontal passes that get nothing if they are lucky. 9 points is going to lose in the NFL the majority of the time. In other words I still didn't see a winning football team yesterday. It's great the defense is playing good again but I want to see improvement. I want to see a winning record. Instead I see the same **** we've watched for 4 years now. When does it change?

Sorry, just tired of it. Props to the defense. Props to the crowd cheering them on. But when I watch Case Keenum get a gameball from Fisher afterwards for scoring 9 points I just have to shake my head and wonder if it'll ever change until he's gone.

Haha, I love it when a team is so cut up they feel the need to try to blow up a victory formation. freaking asswipes. That Bennett guy is very average, I'm not impressed.

.
For an average player he made a lot of plays in our backfield. So I am hoping he is really good, other wise that means we have someone on the O line that is below average or worse.

AD needs to jump on that ball like its a poor dying QB in he future

Yeah, if AD scoops that up he's got a chance to score. I just love the sack by Quinn, Wilson had no clue what was about to happen.
