This is going to tell me a lot about Hendo this week.
If it's just a pain issue and playing will not be a health risk
Take a shot (preferably not in the lungs)
and get your ass on the field!!!!!! Time to man the fuck up!!
If Henderson is feeling good I would dress him and use him as what he should be: the third down/passing down back. He's a nice threat out of the backfield on third down and also has come a long ways on his pass blocking.

Feed Michel on first and second down, and on third downs that are manageable distances.

Tough out for both team. Bucs are missing JPP and Brown too. Still, you're probably going to end up doing what everyone has done so far - short passing game, no real attempt at running (because you can't run on us). This is probably going to be a shootout. We've been talking about this game for a while, Stafford is a huge upgrade to what was a big weakness for you before. But he's still no Brady. Let's hope everyone comes away healthy and you guys get over your loss quickly!

Agree I am on the Sony bus. I think you know how much I liked Hendo
But he has got to get tougher. plus I just love how Sony runs the ball inside.
I am starting to think that When Hendo becomes completely healthy, Sony becomes 1A.

quick question Have we completely abandoned zone blocking.
Not that I have gone back and looked just seems we are running so much more Gap/power schemes.

I suspect that the Rams are running out of time to promote a RB-3 off of our Practice Squad, so maybe Henderson surprises and remains active for the Bucs game. I just hope he's close to 100% healthy if we go with him, but either way, we should know soon how this plays out. jmo.

Rams just mix it up with both zone and power. The first play vs the Colts was a straight mash. Later in the same drive they ran it up the middle with zone. I think the power thing is in part because the Rams have a mix of OL who can do it.

Allen's a zone type guy, smaller and moves well. But the OGs are straight power types in their builds and games IMO. Whit can do both. Hav does both well but tbh he's physically inclined for that power game.

Funny how the bucs receiving room is considered elite yet the "b+" rams receivers sport the number 1 and number 3 receivers with yac since 2018, which is a fucking amazing stat. The fact that kupp and woods run 1 and 3 is unbelievable and when you add van and desean I will take our group over any team.

My favorite prop bet is stafford 3 tds at +180. The rams have to score at least 27 points and will probably not get those 3 or 4 tds on the ground. Our receivers are a bigger mismatch for their secondary than tampa's is for ours, especially without antonio brown.

Please. Brady is 45 years old. If he didn't inherit more weapons that the Taliban, 2020 probably would have been his last year.

OK, you have one game to play. If your team loses, you die. Same roster, except for QB. Your choice at QB is Brady or Stafford. Go ahead and pick.

Thanks for the response Bro My eyes get caught up in the backfield too much, But I do think the mix is more equal than in past.

Easy, I take Stafford everyday over the deflator cheater. For what it's worth, I like his wife better too ...

Rams starting RB Henderson questionable to play against Bucs

Los Angeles Rams running back Darrell Henderson will be a game-time decision against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

Coach Sean McVay said Henderson´s availability would likely depend on pain tolerance after hurting his ribs on the first play of the fourth quarter in the Rams´ 27-24 win at Indianapolis.

Sony Michel had 10 carries for 46 yards in relief and would likely start against Tampa Bay if Henderson cannot play. Rookie Jake Funk, a seventh-round draft pick, could also be in line for an expanded role.

"Want to use as much time as we have, but we´ve got contingency plans in place. And if that´s the case, then those other guys will be asked to step up," McVay said Friday.

Henderson has not practiced this week. He has 123 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 29 carries through two games, along with four receptions for 46 yards.

McVay has been preparing as if Henderson will not be available "so it ends up being a bonus if he is able to go," he said.

If Henderson doesn´t play, the Rams would be without their top four projected backs. Cam Akers, who was expected to start after finishing his rookie season on a strong note, tore his Achilles tendon prior to the start of training camp. Raymond Calais sustained a season-ending foot injury in the second preseason game, and Xavier Jones was waived with an injury designation after hurting his ankle in the final preseason game.

Those injuries, along with a series of scares for Henderson, prompted the Rams to acquire Michel from New England in a trade on August 25.

Michel, who is in his fourth year in the NFL and scored the only touchdown in the Patriots´ Super Bowl win against the Rams in the 2018 season, said his focus this week has been on continuing to refine his understanding of McVay´s offense.

"I gotta be prepared," Michel said. "Whether I start or not, if I´m not prepared I won´t be good, so my only focus right now is being prepared, learning the playbook, trying to get some extra study in."

The offense has trended toward the pass to start the season, with Matthew Stafford completing 39 of 56 for 599 yards and five touchdowns against one interception, while the ground game has produced 175 yards on 52 attempts. But Funk is pleased that the Rams have been able to successfully run the ball to close out wins, including what Michel did against the Colts.

"It just shows the capabilities of our offense," Funk said. "We´re able to have a quarterback like Matthew out there, and then be able to run the ball when it´s needed. So we´re only growing as an offense and I think there´s good things to come."

If Henderson is inactive, Buddy Howell would likely be called up from the practice squad to give the Rams additional depth. Howell, a fourth-year back from Florida Atlantic, played mostly on special teams for Houston the past three seasons.

Elsewhere, the injury report is favorable. Outside linebacker Leonard Floyd is expected to play after returning to practice Friday. Floyd was held out earlier in the week because of an ongoing ankle injury.

Cornerback Darious Williams missed practice because of a non-COVID-19 illness, but McVay doesn´t expect it will affect his availability against the Buccaneers.

Rams injury report: Leonard Floyd good to go vs. Buccaneers

Cameron DaSilva

In just a couple of days, the Los Angeles Rams will host the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers at SoFi Stadium in what will be the biggest test for either team up to this point in the 2021 season. Both sides have some injury questions entering this matchup, with Jason Pierre-Paul out and Antonio Brown potentially sidelined, as well, after being placed on the COVID-19 reserve list.

Darrell Henderson Jr. and Leonard Floyd both missed the first two days of practice on Wednesday and Thursday, raising questions about whether either player will suit up on Sunday. Henderson is nursing a rib injury, while Floyd has a nagging ankle issue that popped up this week.

Henderson is questionable for this weekend’s game against the Bucs, but Floyd was a full participant on Friday, and is good to go for Sunday. Darious Williams came down with an illness and missed practice Friday – it’s non-COVID-19 related – but he’s expected to be fine for this weekend’s game.

The Buccaneers will be without one of their main pass rushing weapons as Head Coach Bruce Arians announced that outside linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul will be miss Sunday's game in Los Angeles as he battles through hand and shoulder injuries.

They'll also be without wide receiver/kick returner Jaydon Mickens who missed practice all week with a hip injury. Both absences will require other players to step into those roles as they take on a top five team for their first road game of the year.

Tampa Bay will likely also be without inside linebacker Kevin Minter and wide receiver Antonio Brown, both of whom are on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Arians didn't shut the door completely on their returns on Friday, but called them both 'very questionable.'

Cornerback Carlton Davis was also added to the Bucs' Friday report but despite an abdomen injury, practiced fully. There was the addition of both Ndamukong Suh and Rob Gronkowski as well, both of which were on veteran rest days.

The Rams list two players as questionable, while getting outside linebacker Leonard Floyd back practicing in a full capacity.

Read below for the full injury report for both teams, including player statuses:

Some questions need to remain unanswered. :laugh4:
