It was at the knees but didn't look that bad. I know GW takes a lot of grief but we see hits like that all the time. Though it'll be nice not to catch any lip from other fans for him this year.

These nfl players really need to be taught how to tackle. That was dreadful. A rugby league player would have smashed him around the ribs using his shoulder then wrapping up. There are ways to make players hear your footsteps without injuring them.

Odell Beckham Jr. reportedly has ankle injury, being evaluated for concussion

Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr. took a shot on the side of his left leg during the second quarter of Monday night’s game against the Browns. He left the field, heading directly up the tunnel.

But the Pro Bowler didn’t make it to the locker room, dropping to his knees in obvious pain inside the bowels of the stadium. He was escorted the rest of the way to the locker room, walking gingerly.

Beckham finished with three catches for 37 yards, with the last catch coming on an 18-yard gain that ended his night with 13:45 remaining until halftime. As Beckham planted his left foot, Browns cornerback Briean Boddy-Calhoun hit Beckham’s leg.

Beckham dropped to both knees as the Giants held their collective breath.

ESPN reported Beckham has an ankle injury and is being evaluated for a concussion. A cart outside the locker room drove Beckham to the X-ray room for further evaluation.

Yeesh that looks worse in slow motion, I didn't catch a replay of it my attention is more on the Dodgers game. Gotta love GW not teaching guys to tackle properly.

That wasn't dirty at all. The Browns player wasn't launching himself nor did he use his helmet. He went low and knocked Odell on his ass.

Defenders are screwed no matter what they do. If they try to tackle properly and the WR changes his body posture all of a sudden they're head hunters.

Redskins Center Spencer Long has minor knee scope, expected to miss two weeks. Expected to be back by week 1.
They drafted Chase Roullier this year though so I think they are fine either way.

Agree above to others. If it wasn't ODB13, this wouldn't have made any mass media masturbations.

Fuck!... whatever happended to a football player and an injury (various severities), that combo sucks no matter what.

Unfuck the World!

Reports: Patriots believe Julian Edelman tore his ACL

The final diagnosis has not been made, but the initial outlook for Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelmanafter Friday night’s knee injury is not a good one.

According to multiple reports, the Patriots believe Edelman suffered a torn ACL when he hurt his knee without being contacted in the first quarter of the team’s game against the Lions. He will have an MRI to provide further confirmation about the extent of the injury.

If it is a torn ACL, Edelman will miss the 2017 season and the Patriots will be without Tom Brady‘s favorite target in recent seasons. The team certainly isn’t devoid of other receiving options with Rob Gronkowski, Chris Hogan, Brandin Cooks, Danny Amendola and Malcolm Mitchell on hand, but there will still be some adjusting to do on offense if Edelman’s not part of the mix.

Edelman was injured on his third reception of New England’s opening drive and was carted to the locker room shortly after limping to the sideline.
