The flag was for illegal contact on Tru22, the official wanted to make sure Denver got a 1st down.
Oh ok.

HaHa!!! That sums it up. I would love to see the photoHe got knocked the F@CK out..
Yea, I'm not even sure how you would go about preventing that catch without a penalty. IMO Sanders is dummy for leaving his feet the way he did. Again, not complaining about the call as it was brutal. I just hope the NFL sees it the same.
During a football game. Imagine that...Mike Carrey came on with the announcers and said it was a fair play by McCleod.
Rodney came in hot and drilled Sanders as the ball fell through his hands. Perfectly timed.
One of those "OUCH" plays.
Carrey said he understands why they through the flag due to the physical nature, but it was the wrong call by the offficials.
Can I nominate this for post of the year?He got knocked the F@CK out..
If the league is mandating rules that are almost impossible for refs to make. It's seems they would make all 15 Yrd penalties automatically reviewed by the refs. Like they do with all tds.During a football game. Imagine that...
I'm really not liking this "safer" league that Goodell has manufactured.
Deserves a re-post because this is exactly the problem. Its a huge hit - but anyone can see (even in real time and at full speed) it was led by his shoulder - to his shoulder - not anywhere near his helmet. I hate the "that looks too violent" penalty that has crept into the NFL by the back door in recent years. As a Rams fan I'm thinking Janoris Jenkins on Fred Davis, Michael Brockers on Josh McCown and this one.
And I question if the Rams win if that doesn't happen. He was killing them early. He got knocked the F@CK out..
That was McDonald, but yeah, I agree. The hit on Sanders was clean. Later in the game, McCleod left his feet and launched into a WR that could have been called. He hit him in the mid-section but he launched. I think that one deserved a flag if either did.
