Chris Simms is a knucklehead so lots like an article posted by Florio... Is it really worth wasting that little time of my life I can never get back? Negative. Carry on.

I agree, But, How much of Mannion, looking Bad, was because he was working with the 3's and the Rams didn't game plan this game!?!

So did his o line or do we only use that excuse for GOFF

O-line sucked for both Goff and Mannion, and the receivers did as well.

But I'm talking about his throws, how he looked, how he got the ball out. He looked bad, worse than Goff.

I stopped listening after his "Keenum wouldn't even be a backup for other NFL teams..." remark.

I have to be honest about my opinion though. I do share in some of the concerns over Goff thus far. I was a big Wentz guy and i felt there was a decent sized gap there between the two QB's(Goff and Wentz) in terms of NFL readiness, transition and to a lesser extent, upside.
At the same time it's way too early to panic and i'm 100% behind Jared to adapt and become that franchise guy for us.

Isn't Chis Simms one of those shiity QB's that the Rams roughed up a few years ago?

When you lack the confidence to throw the ball more than 8 yards down the field in any preseason game, you need to ask yourself if you have what it takes to start a game in the NFL.

There's a great quote by Muhammad Ali:
"Any man who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life."

I did a job walk with one if my field foreman today. It went well, so I took him to lunch at this little taco shop down the street. The AL Pastor was excellent.

Oh, and Chris Simms is un-listenable, just like his father.

Who the fuck is Chris Simms and why would anyone ever listen to him?

I tell you, blogging has led to a lot of dumb shits dinging off more BS than a five year old.

I'll sum it up.

Goff is a deer in the headlights, over-matched physically, mentally, and is being outplayed by Keenum and Mannion. Mariota, Winston, Luck would have ended the competition with Keenum the 3rd day of OTA's. Reminds him of Alex Smith. When Smith came it not a whole lot impresses you but at least Alex Smith can run. Jared Goff looks like a very average thrower of the football. If I had to re-evaluate Goff (you know I had concerns in the draft) he had an offense that was made for him in college football and he had NFL talent around him. He'd play Keenum and have Mannion back him up. He doesn't want to overreact after two preseason games but that's what he sees. Also there aren't a lot of impressive throws, the ball doesn't pop out of his hand, rarely throws a spiral (smaller hands coming into play). They've got to be concerned in L.A. but they'll continue to put a positive spin on it but I'm sure those coaches are like, "Oh man did we make a bad decision here?"
Perfect summary. Laughable. Chris Simms is going to be shown for the fool he is.

We know our eyes and what we see. Goff will be more than fine. He will be a star in this league.

Well, you have to admit that Chris Sims knows what a QB without NFL talent looks like...simply from looking into a mirror.

Whats the difference between Simms and his appendix? His appendix was only a bust during one game, Simms was a bust for all of them!!!!

*I remember watching the game and thought it was pretty badass he stayed in and played after his appendix burst. Always a was a pretty shitty qb though.

Winston was absolutely fucking terrible in the preseason last year. As usual, Simms is talking out of his ass.

It was his spleen, actually, against Carolina.

In reference to the article-- what "NFL talent" was Goff surrounded by while at Cal?

Damnit your right. Its been a long time. But you are right it was the Spleen. Still pretty badass that he played on after that happened.

Agree, He was surrounded by a (6th) round draft pick wr and TE? Dont know exactly where they were picked but it was very late in the draft and they were all.
