Brady has played for and been heavily involved in a culture of cheating. Is he someone kids should aspire to be? Does his record really make up for it? Or does Brady embody what drives success in sport i.e. money and power? The sport has suffered for the cheatriots win first attitude and because of a press willing to endorse it

Brady is nothing more than a good QB + the luckiest QB to ever play the game. His team was allowed to cheat. He was in the easiest division in football for his whole career. He had the same head coach his whole career. He had a top 10 or better defense his whole career. When he got injured the league made a new rule to protect him. He almost never got touched and when a pinky hit his helmet they called penalties and gave him a trip to the SB. Oh and lets not forget the out of nowhere rule. The Tuck rule which gave him a trip to the SB. Then he goes to TB another loaded team and we get to hear how great he is again. Also while he is so unselfish as to give up some salary, he owns a company that has only one client, the Patriots and makes millions more. Put any of the top QBs of Brady's time, in Brady's place. You get the same or better results. Not the GOAT.

How did the Pats do in the playoffs the year he was injured? How did they do last year after he left? Coincidence I think not

They were 11-5 in 2008 without him, and 3-1 in 2016 when he was deflate gated, not sure you make a compelling argument?

They were undefeated 16-0 with him in 2007 and missed the playoffs when he was hurt in 2008 oh and how about the Pats record last year without him?

He also wasn't replaced by one of the top QB's of the era last year, as the argument stated. And who knows how willing Cam was to cheat?

They went 11-5 with someone who was very clearly not top QB material in 2008. 11-5 is usually enough to get a spot in the playoffs. Didn't work out that year. Other teams dream of going 11-5 with as backup playing all year. The Pats team could do it and make it look easy. In fact, any time Brady was out they did well. It didn't matter how many backups they were down to.

Man the salt on this thread toward Brady is unreal...i give up .... there has NEVER been a player past 40 years of age playing any position as well as Brady has much less as an elite QB. He is the best pre-snap QB Ive ever seen thats why he barely gets touched. His intelligence and focus is what sets him apart -NOT CHEATING! quit being sore losers lol

. There is no argument that Brady is the most accomplished NFL player EVER and his talent through the years was a major factor in his success. However you’ve apparently lost site of this thread. Brady referenced a team that did not pursue him as a FA by stating ‘You’re sticking with that motherf*#+%r’. That’s some insight to Brady’s mindset. He’s an arrogant prick that tries to be badass but just pisses off anyone who is not a fan of the team he plays for. You won’t find people who have the same disdain for other accomplished QBs like Unitas, Starr, Staubach, Montana, Rothlesberger, Favre, Manning, etc.

Didn't they win 11 games that year without him.
If Brady was on the pats last year he would have looked like shit too. the talent level of the Pats was at a 17 year low. You watch the SB. Did brady or the Defense do most of the damage. Oh and by the way mahomes LT was injured. Brady last year mostly lived off of the D. How many turn overs did they get in the NFC championship and the SB.

I am not saying he isn't a good QB. Just not the best ever. The luckiest ever. Montana, Elway, Marino, Rodgers, Manning all are better QBs. The 1st 3 I listed played when you could get planted into the ground, and throwing over the middle with impunity was not happening. No, not the GOAT.

Maybe cause you can't touch him and he didn't take the hits many of the QBs before him took.

If you look at other sports like the NBA-Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant had the F U attitude and cockiness/confidence that Brady has. Those guys are the Mount Rushmore. They back their shit up

Lol Marino barely ever got touched. Montana had one of the best Olines and skill player groups and coaches ever. Elway only won a SB when he had a 2K rusher and was past his prime...see I can give excuses to their greatness too. But none of them sniffed 6 Super Bowls

I am curious. Do you believe that Tom ‘caught cheating’ Brady would have won his first SB if his defense hadn’t known the other teams scripted plays in advance of the contest? Or, having still failed to build a lead, had the good fortune to play on the same team as the games greatest kicker of all time? Who made perhaps the greatest kick?

Are we not being salty for good reason considering the thread?

That’s only 2 reasons out of 6 ? Brady is a loser any ways though.

I enjoyed Nick Foles winning a SuperBowl & catching a TD.

I believe if The Ref did not call a Fathom Holding penalty against John Sullivan The Rams win there last SuperBowl & Todd #31 Gurley would have scored a TD in that game.Game changing call.

IMO the Refs not calling penalties against NE in the first meeting The Rams win, even if they knew the plays early.

Rod Perry needed to grow an inch.

Makes me start to think how Jared Goff will do in Detroit now ? GB got away with a PI & Goff was still 16-18 at one point. He has trouble in the pocket, but he will have a Young LT

Okay this turned into a ' Fuck TOm Brady' thread in which I'm not complaining by any means, maybe I missed it but did we find out who he was talking about by chance?

Was it the Bears or Whiners?

The 1st three SB we all know the Pats cheated to get their. So why does everyone count them. That is my problem with the Pats and Brady. They stole glory from so many and built their reputation on cheating and now it is just ignored when they talk about their record.
Brady isn't the best ever.

How does that explain his last 3 Super Bowl wins in NE though?? When everyone was on the lookout for them cheating? Dont say deflategate-thats a joke. And then winning it all in Tampa Bay with a 7-9 Bucs team that always underacheived and their overrated head coach... yes Belichek cheated the Rams in XXXVI not Brady! Brady orchestrated an amazing 2 minute drive to win it-call it luck call it whatever but he fkin did it
