Just popped in to say my mate put me on to a "punk" band from philly that I'd never heard of - the Menzingers. Fucking brilliant.
Early stuff is punk, the new stuff is a punk band that grew up and now just writes awesome songs. Check out 'after the party' and 'Anna' for particular highlights.
