Scratch... that dude is WAY OUT there. One of a kind... he is like the Godfather of reggae in a sense.

The reason i got so into reggae as a fan and bass player was through my love for The Clash. And those guys we genius enough to work with Scratch Perry on complete Control. The Clash had great reggae influence even on Strummer and Mick Jones after they broke up, with their solo projects like B.A.D. with the great Don Letts

I did not know that about Scratch... it doesn't surprise me at all though. He was responsible for many finding their success in the industry. Including Bob Marley.

That dude really is a freak though. One of a kind.
