Hmm she has that ubiquitous groan voice female singers tend to have that I think is way too affected (the music is okay)
Have you heard Weyes Blood? My colleague Stephen Heath plays guitar for her and I actually think she is really good - lemme know what you think

Ah, the song is beautiful. Catchy and pleasingly melodic. Whimsical psychedelic folk captures my fancy every time. Both women write and play Keyboards. Miss Blood plays acoustic guitar too. I'll dig deep into her albums. Check her and your colleague out.
Bent Knee was formed at Boston's Berklee College of Music by Courtney Swain (Vocals,Keys), Ben Levin (Guitar) and Vince Welch (Production and Sound Design) out of a love of the epic, and has influences of Psych, Baroque Pop and Avant-Jazz strewn through their music. I like their experimental approach and numerous odd time signatures. Their recent album contains no duds, if you like that sort of thing. They're pretty good live.

I imagine Weyes Blood must give groovy live performances, as well. I envy your artistic existence Dieter. You get to rub elbows and god-know-what-else with other artists!
