I first got into the Delfonics years after they were history thanks to Quentin Tarantino's underrated film Jackie Brown, which featured this song and Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time) by them (the latter song more prominently), as part of the romancing between Jackie Brown and Robert Forster's character.
