I was responding to the your, "why couldn't Tutu carry the offense". Nobody said he could. Well, one guy claims he could amass 1,000 yards, so everybody but him. Just like El Chapo's comment "if Tutu is that good, why didn't he take snaps away from Kupp?", it's ridiculous. Everybody (but 1 guy) has said, Tutu is a #3 WR.
Damn you sure like to use my comment lol.....as said earlier, that was for anyone thinking Atwell would automatically be a 1,000 WR which I agree is ridiculous. If he truly was that already, he would have taken way more snaps from Kupp and anyone else last year. He's most definitely a #3 now with a chance to prove he's much more. We'll see how it works out

This shit goes back. Way back. Conversationally it's like Goff... Not just about this thread.

In that situation you sit Kupp if you need to. Reduce his snaps. But the truth is even when Kupp was out it wasn't like Atwell was any sort of go-to for the scheme. He has never owned that role. Not even when the so called "sacred cow" was not available.

But in the end the Rams moved on from Kupp. So that means there is nothing standing in Tutu's way this year and we'll see if he's gonna be a dog in this scheme or whether he leaks snaps to more non-optimum athletes like Whittington and Mumpfield. And I'll be real fucking surprised, also quite happy, if Tutu actually puts out some consistent production.

Need to get him the football, he is open and deep too. Stop underthrowing him, let it fly Matthew.
That sort of curl sideline route Tutu runs is basically uncover able. Stafford throws that pass well with great timing. Tutu usually runs that in the 10-18 or so yard range.
Id really like to see Tutu used on slants as well.
A nice long slant and Tutu would be hard to cover on that. It would take time to develop with depth but could be a big play. Not too likely Tutu is going to get a ton of passes each week, but, when and type can make a big difference to the offense.

.

I just dropped in to say Whittington is a gun. If he needs to fill in a couple of games because of injury I won't be the least concerned.
