I really think that Kelly once acclimated to the system will be the best bet to replace Gurley if he goes down but it will for sure be more of a committee type of thing with Kelly eventually taking the majority of snaps. I think he will work himself into the 2 slot after a while tbh.Personally, I'd prefer Kelly if Gurley happened to go down. I see why you'd go with Brown, but Kelly is a natural third down back. Rose is a good pass-catcher out of the backfield and runs solid routes. He could actually fit as a wide receiver. Davis is a one down back with ball-security issues, but he's a much more dynamic runner than Rose.

It’ll be interesting with Rose and Brown battling it out and I think Brown will be cut.
You really think we keep 4? Obviously whoever that is better show up on ST's. This off season is going to be interesting asf!Honestly, I don't think that Brown will be cut. He's a big and talented back, and he's good on third down. Honestly, I think that we keep four running backs. The locks are Gurley (of course), Kelly (just drafted him, and he's talented), and Brown (our third down back last year), with Rose and Davis fighting it out for the remaining spot. Unfortunately for Davis, he has ball security issues and is a one-down runner, so I think that Rose wins the spot.
Rose also is a talented receiver and is solid on special teams, so he's not only a fourth running back, but a seventh receiver as well, who contributes on special teams.
The way Tavon was used we technically kept 4 last year with Davis inactive most weeks. You really think we keep 4? Obviously whoever that is better show up on ST's. This off season is going to be interesting asf!
I'm thinking Hemingway coming back and some stiff competition elsewhere might prevent that this year but that is part of what I'm curious to see how our roster turns out come TC and the pre-season.The way Tavon was used we technically kept 4 last year with Davis inactive most weeks.

Ohhh true I forgot we got rid of that guy from the Skins... Hmmm this might be a possibility. That's still only three tight ends. Six wideouts, four running backs, three tight ends, and two quarterbacks to go along with ten offensive linemen. That's my opinion, and I'm probably going to be very wrong, but hey, that's what the offseason is for, right?![]()

Snead’s praying for a 6th lolBetter yet, we didn't cut Carrier. He was already an UFA, and he was signed by the Raiders to a long-term deal. Means that we might get a compensatory draft pick for him.
Hey, I was high on Benny as well. He was a talented third down back.

There is no doubt in my mind this ^ will be 3 of 4 RB's we keep! Watching the fight for #4 in camp and pre-season is going to be Fun!we already know Gurley, Brown and Kelly are going to be the favorites to land the first three jobs on the roster.
