And Ewers was a better qbHe's 6'5" 242 and had a terrible Head Coach. Quinn Ewers went in the 7th. Drew Allar is getting drafted.

Yes!! IF youre right. If I'M right we MAY find out Friday, Saturday latest.Well technically after draft weekend lol
Yeah the boards are bullshit at this time of year. The stacking of so many groups are going to see changes, and then you have the positions that are dependent on 40 times, like WR and CB, where final slotting waits for their official times. He's 45 on the consensus big board at nflmockdraftdatabase.
I'm in the camp that has MS9 playing (hopefully) for a couple more years, and the Rams taking the BPA with the top #1st rounder, and again for the second one. It would be great to grab a big, fast and physical CB first if that's who the BPA is, and a big fast physical WO with the second 1st rounder.Yeah the boards are bullshit at this time of year. So if you look at the wideout board up top there's so much talent that some of them are gonna smoke their 40, which means the translation is we're gonna have WR up there as BPA options. The big type of WRs with real juice too, who McVay rarely gets to look at.
And the corners for example I think Chris Johnson is gonna jump way up the board. He's a goddamn stud. The dude pops on special teams. Might as well write "We Not Me" on his forehead.
Nice thing about Center is the wheelhouse for them seems to be rounds 2-4. So the top two picks are open for BPA and frankly that's what the Rams need to do with them.I'm in the camp that has MS9 playing (hopefully) for a couple more years, and the Rams taking the BPA with the top #1st rounder, and again for the second one. Next, I'm liking some help on the O line, and there should be several options / choices available on day 2 to beef up at center and tackle.
The team has done fairly well with grooming UDFA's for the O line, but it may be time to invest a higher pick there, particularly at center, in the '26 draft.
We need a big, bad ass center with a nasty attitude leading the O line, imo.
I doubt the national media knows that Warren McClendon may be the long-term answer at RT. They're probably just looking at Hav's impending free agency and assuming OT is a huge need.
Fano would be an amazing pick, as good as McClendon has looked to upgrade RT with a player like Fano is nothing to dismiss (Mauigoa would be there too IMO). That said pasing on Downs and Simpson seems unlikely.
Actually, I think Bruglar in his mock says McClendon may make his pick moot.I doubt the national media knows that Warren McClendon may be the long-term answer at RT. They're probably just looking at Hav's impending free agency and assuming OT is a huge need.
Well...good for him, I'm impressed!Actually, I think Bruglar in his mock says McClendon may make his pick moot.
Fano is a huge upgrade over McClendon and on a rookie deal for 5 years while McClendon is a free agent after next season. Add to that with our other 1st round pick we got another huge upgrade with a CB. Two first round picks two huge upgrades.Well...good for him, I'm impressed!
I wish that was reflected in his mock, though, because McClendon has been playing much better than what we were getting from Hav this year and probably last year too.
I'd much rather see that pick used on a position where a huge upgrade will be felt.
Some might just lose their minds over us drafting another CB from Clemson![]()
BTW at this point I am convinced that Mendoza and Maiava are 1-2 on the board for sure in one combination or the other if Maiava declares. Mendoza is a bit more polished, Maiava is more upside but neither of those dudes are going to be on the board long.
Yeah, the 5-year contract would be nice. This is admittedly short-term thinking, but I would really like someone whose impact we feel next year. I asked myself, would Fano cause the offense to score more points next year? I honestly don't think it would because McClendon is doing a great job in pass pro and run blocking.Fano is a huge upgrade over McClendon and on a rookie deal for 5 years while McClendon is a free agent after next season. That said I doubt Fano is picked over Simpson or Sellers who he doesn't even have mocked in the 1st let alone likely the best player in college in Caleb Downs.
I have a hard time believing that Downs, Love or Simpson would just float by the Rams
At the very least if they don't want to burn a #1 on a RB, that's a scenario where maybe they can trade back a few spots to a team who wants Love.I have a hard time believing that Downs, Love or Simpson would just float by the Rams
