I have been an admittedly BIG proponent of the thinking: "we MUST get our next Drafted Franchise Quarterback in the 2026 Draft, now that we're armed with TWO 1st Round picks.

I'm now, more leaning of the belief, we should give Stafford a new 3-year deal, and try, if we can, to turn some 2026 Draft Capital into 2027 Draft Currency.
That’s freaking outrageous imo !!
I’d say in ALL ACCOUNTS!!!

Not a Fan of these QB’s in 2026.I’ll leave that to the scouts though.

I’ve always been big on Circling Players who will be pillars for a Franchise regardless of position.

Trading back for value as well.Maybe even receiving multiple picks & ultimately 3 first rd picks for 2 ???

You are correct! Picks 14 and 24 equate in value to pick 4. And McSnead is aggressive, so we don't have to assume they'll only be in play for a second-tier guy. I'd say the odds are higher for a massive trade-up than for a 2nd or mid-round QB.
This could also have another “Ad-Verse effect.” If a few QBs are drafted right away, it pushes some talent down who were highly rated. Can you imagine if the top WR falls to around 6 or 7?

Those two 1rst rounders don’t have to be for a QB, necessarily.

Sure, it's not necessary, but they're not gonna have a better opportunity to get the QB of the future.

It will make things much easier if the Atlanta pick is around #10.

Before this week, the Atlanta pick was 14. After today, they moved up ahead of the Texans based on the Texans having the harder strength of schedule. So now at 13... Looking at the rest of the list, probably the only obvious teams that should end up with a better record is Dallas & Baltimore. Not sure who else might have a decent season whi is currently in that top 10. Maybe Washington if they get healthy, but they have a very tough schedule as does the NY Giants... there are a lot of bad teams.

So we might expect to be maybe at best be right at #10... maybe 9 if they are lucky. I could see the Cardinals winning more games with their soft schedule.

I get a good feeling looking at this sched. It wouldn't be tough for our Rams, but for Atlanta I think there's going to be a lot of losses. Thinking 7-10 with a +/- of 2. If things go our way we'll be inside that top ten.

And depending on which week you watch the falcons…
Big 2nd half coming up.
