BTW, what's with some of these college players essentially wearing shorts to play football? Looks absurd and I can't believe that the NCAA doesn't implement a dress code or jersey code for gameday.
That shit starts with untucked jersey undershirts hanging out looking all unprofessional. Or one player wearing his own color socks. If you don't hold to a standard, sooner or later it'll be some shit you can't stomach.

A good game to watch to look at 2nd/3rd day QBs in Baylor vs TCU.

I like Robertson... so look for 3 picks today. Lol!!

If Stafford retires McVay will look for a veteran option and use the draft to further stock the team.
Unless some rookie they are enamored with falls in their lap in the draft (and even if they do) I would bet real money that Jimmy G. will be our starter if Stafford retires. Only way I see that not happening at this point in time is if an unexpected option presents itself like Burrow requesting a trade or something of that caliber.

I wouldn't mind having Chris Bell, the Louisville WR, in rd 1. He is considered one of the top 5 WRs in the draft.
Dude looks great. Him and Lemon are my draft crushes at WR right now.
Bad night for Beck
You could say that again. Has been playing pretty damn well for the #2 ranked team until last night. Think he is not in the 1st round discussion anymore.

I think Mateer has a lot of the qualities mcvay would like. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he’s our pick in the 1st round. Then sits 1-2 years behind staff/JG/etc

Watching Sellers, if McVay coaches him, McVay will burn out by week 3.
Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson were far from polished passers coming out of college. Sellers is a special talent being held back by a bad OL and poor play-calling. If he falls in the draft due to that, it's a gift to us. Draft him and develop him. No need to start him Week 1.

Don't think he ever was this year lol. Middling mobility. Doesn't have a big arm. Turnover prone. Feels like a mid-round pick to me.

Even Mahomes sat behind Alex Smith for the vast majority of his rookie year.

If Sellers is there late, take him.

Obviously a long way to go until April, but right now I am leaning towards the idea of drafting WR, CB, OT, C, and a mid round QB with upside. Especially if Stafford is back.

Hoping maybe they can trade back slightly with one of those #1's and get an extra #3. So that would give them 5 picks in the first 3 rds to address those needs.

The other option I would be okay with is if they fall in love with Moore or Mendoza, then go get your guy in a big trade up. This would be more palatable if Jimmy G is the bridge and you want a young guy to step in by 27'.

The rest of the first rd guys might not be much better than guys that you can grab in rd 3 or 4.

We've got multiple firsts. This is the year to do it. Only way I pass is if there's no QB worth taking.
