Never said he wasn't entering the portal. I did say that does not mean he still can't enter the draft. All that has happened thus far is that he made it clear he is not going back to Cincy. So he had to make that decision first. Now he weighs his options of NFL vs NIL.

Thats all. That is all I ever posted. I find it bizzare that you and Dieter took me to task on that original post.

Are you guys okay?
I've made my point more than a few times. Also I'm pretty sure you started this debate knowing full well that he had entered the portal and challenged my comment that he did in fact enter the portal and hadn't declared for the draft.

I'm perfectly OK I've posted what he said he was doing and my opinion on what he will do and that if he did come out I'd be perfectly happy with that and it would give us a chance to draft him. You're the one who won't let it rest about him going into the portal.

My last comment on this.

Yes, I posted he entered the portal. That was no secret. I read an article about him entering the portal with the reporting that he is seeking feedback from the NFL before making a final decision as to whether he stays in school or not, but he still had to enter the portal to keep that other option open. So all I added is that unlike Mensah and some others, he apparently expressed that he still could enter the draft. That's it.

I still don't get that you didn't, and apparently still don't understand that distinction. Entering the portal has nothing to do with him also considering entering the draft. If he gets positive feedback from the NFL he may forgoe his last year. According to Bruglar, if he gets top 50 ranking he may go to the NFL.

So that's it. I am done with this nonsense.

...You guys are going senile.

No real stuff behind this but saw that perhaps the Rams could send a king's ransom for Lamaar Jackson. He hasn't done well in post season games, but wondering if McVay could fix that? Goff was an assassin in the 2023 NFCCG, but their idiot coach wanted to "go for it" in the 2nd half up 14 instead of a short FG. Goff hit the receiver in the numbers and he dropped it. Right after that, Purdy threw a pass right to a Lion's DB who bobbled it and got caught by Aiyuk. The whiners scored and Detroit fumbled their next possession and ended up losing. Sometimes discretion is the bigger part of valor.

If there is any truth to getting Jackson, I'd be interested.

No thanks. I want multiple Lombardi trophies. I don’t think Lamar has that in him.

I think McVay could work magic with Lamar's talent. My concern with Lamar is longevity. Athletic QBs don't age well, and Lamar is about to turn 29 years old. How much longer will he be a major running threat? Once he loses that, I think his game will rapidly decline, like we saw with Russell Wilson and Cam Newton.

That would be nuts. Lammar could not handle the full McVay offense. Goff couldn't and Sean got rid of him. Besides, he looks shot to me. Once you can't run past everyone or through them they get the run game shut down and forced to to throw from the pocket.
Different world for a running QB, and he was just that. Should have won the MVP last year IMO.
Not the same guy now.
Now Burrow could handle it. Even larwence at this point.

Raiders leading the Chiefs 6-3... :laugh2:

Gonna laugh my ass off if Ol' Petey pulls this out and loses the top pick.

Pass. Lamar cannot win from the pocket. So I agree that once his running threat goes he's done. Also I don't think he's got the intellect to run this offense.
