You just can't admit he is also considering the draft because you claimed he wasnt. Carry on.
Sorry I never said it wasn't true just that the only thing coming from him is what I linked. Sorry that upsets you so much but this isn't the only time I do this. I'm going to believe what a person says over what somebody else says they said. Sorry that is just common sense. I'd love if the kid were coming out for the draft. But we have him saying one thing and espn saying he said another. It's pretty simple to me what holds more weight not sure what's so hard for you to understand here.

IIRC, declaring for the Draft will supersede any transfer, I dont know how it affects a signed NIL deal though
I'd imagine anybody offering him money to stay in college wouldn't do so if his intention was to enter the draft. Also any deal he signs for college money would likely be voided if he did go to the NFL and he'd have to give back any of it he received.

It's not like he's said he wasn't listening to the NFL feedback. Espn just added what he apparently told them. He only posted to his Cincy fans that he was entering the portal. Both can be true and ESPN is not reporting that he isn't entering the portal.

So whatever.... you can be frustrating as you can't seem to admit that there is more to the story.

Sorsby tweeted his thank you and intention to go in to the portal on 12/15 at 12:50 PM, showing that the ESPN guy didnt know what he was talking about.
Not sure what the argument is here?
Sorsby is off the board, he's currently the top ranked player in the portal and has visits lined up

I had a lengthy post with more opinions but ho estly with the timeline given do you think he honestly after allegedly telling ESPN one thing would tell everyone else else something different?

And now we have another report from ESPN @PhillyRam saying he's got visits lined up.

ESPN has him the #1 QB target in the portal. It looks like he's going through with the portal and seeing what he can do there.

As I've said many times already in this discussion that's gone on too long he absolutely can change his mind but every report has him focused on the portal. He can be asking for a grade by the NFL since every player has the right to it and I'm sure every player with eligibility gets the exact same thing. He can change his mind but for right now by his word and by his actions he's staying in school for his last year of eligibility. Again right now that can change obviously until he signs either an NIL deal or with an agent.

Umm...its the same day. He has to enter the portal if he has decided he is not returning to Cincy. So he is now weighing his transfer options vs entering the draft. It's not that hard to understand.

It's not like entering the portal means he can't decide to enter the draft if he gets postive feedback from the NFL regarding his likley draft position. What is a sure thing is that he decided that he is not playing in Cincy next year.

The Athletic is reporting the same thing...

Yeah, he is weighing his options as he should. All I said is that he is also apparently waiting for NFL feedback on his potential draft position and he could still enter the draft. A local Cincy news station reported that as did the Athletic & ESPN...see above. I guess Dave Brugler is way off then too.

I never said he was definitely going into the draft. I just said it's still possible.

We've all said anything can happen.
I've said that every player considering it asks for the grade he's asked for and they all can get it.
We also know emphatically that he has entered the draft portal and has multiple visits already lined up and in progress.
He said he was entering the portal. He's doing that. We won't know what is happening until he signs either with an agent or signs an NIL deal. You've been arguing with me for 2 days now on this even though you say the same thing as I have that he's entered the portal and that anything is possible.

Our discussion has centered on me simply saying he still could enter the draft and you and Dieter saying he isn't considering the draft and its portal only.

Hey, he probably gets a bag and goes to a top program. All I have said is he is also awaiting NFL feedback so its still possible he could decide on going to the NFL. That is what ESPN reported after talking to him. They reported he was entering the portal, but could still opt for the draft.

So not sure how his tweet disputes ESPN's or the Athletic's reporting.

Bizarre behavior.
You're dying on a hill over a writer claiming that he was waiting on the NFL 2 weeks ago, while ignoring tweets and comments from today about the offers he's getting in the portal
It's not that difficult to understand.
He's not a prospect for the 2026 draft
This thread was designed to discuss QB's who could be available, he wont be

YOU CAN BE IN THE PORTAL AND STILL DECIDE TO ENTER THE DRAFT WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE! This shouldn't be that hard to understand!
I read the same but am betting against it. If he is waiting to see whether teams have a first round grade, or high first round grade, on him then it’s tough to see based on what he put out so far. All signs point to him following Mendoza into the portal

Simpson might go back too after his Rose Bowl disaster, but seeing where Alabama are as a team, with a lack of elite talent around him, he could declare (based on the belief at least one team will take an early shot - based on his early season film and interviews)

Sorry, that’s just how I see it

If Miami beats Ole Miss, then for the 3rd straight year the SEC will not have a representative in the CFB Finale. Unbelievable!

Oh boy.... Yes, I think he stays in school too. It's just the old dude dismissed out of hand that he was even considering the draft. All I did is show the report that he was weighing his options as opposed to some of these guys who are just going to the portal with no I tention of considering the draft. Thats all.

Not dying on anything... at least not yet.
