T.J. Yates gets some work with Texans’ first-string offense
Hahaha I bet BOB benches Tom Savage midway through the 2nd quarter.
He's the worst QB manager ever.

Yeah but Didn't fisher just give them Spa Days when it was an easy win?
It's a funny feeling....reading fans of teams...that really don't feel like they have a chance against us....

Just like it gets sketchy to say it's ok to do it if one person of a group says it's ok. Just like it doesn't matter what anybody else things follow your own feelings. It's a lot better than following other people just because of their feelings. It's fine to go with one's own feelings. However it gets a bit sketchy when some make major efforts to point out how his stance offended all of a group when many within that same group say otherwise and are conveniently ignored.
Totally agree. He was under contract. He had a job and a paycheck. The rest is politics.Because Kaepernick went about his protest the wrong way. He kneels, decided to opt out of his contract, won’t take a pay cut and become the back up QB, says he will start standing just to have a roster spot and then sues the NFL for black balling him. BS. He did it to himself.
He hasn't played in a while...Kaep would get killed if he walked off the street into a new system and was expected to play at a high level. He's being romanticized a bit I think....Would I like Kaep to be inserted into the Texan's offense right now? HELL YES...we would freaking end his world...It's hard to imagine that CK isn't better than what the Texans have....and after watching last night, I'm sure he's better than anything the Cardinals have too.
You're right. It's just like Tebow. NFL teams have to balance optics with talent. If they think Kaepernick is a starting QB who will lead them to the playoffs, the PR issues are worth the talent he brings. If they only see him as a backup QB or weak starter who won't take them anywhere, they're not going to deal with the PR issues because he doesn't offer enough talent.
It's simply the reality of football being a business.
Tebow really can't play....he was given an opportunity on at least 2 teams.Funny the media didn't make a stink when teams blacklisted Tebow.
Kaep would get killed if he walked off the street into a new system and was expected to play at a high level.
I remember him diving into the endzone to beat us last year on a team not half as good as the Texans.LACHAMP46...This is the Kaep I remember near the end of his time as the Niners QB
I don't think we'd be talking about it as a disaster, like the HOU fans are... I think McVay's system would elevate Mannion and the Rams would continue to be successful. As successful as it is with Goff? No, but maybe successful enough to continue winning games on a consistent basis.
I was just wondering if others felt that would be the case as well.
That's the kind of thinking that got the Redskins where they are now with Cousins.
Truth is Goff has improved so markedly that he's on the verge of being elite, and is running a no-huddle pre-snap read approach like a veteran. There would be significant dropoff from him to Mannion right now. Let's hope we don't need to find that out.
So he beat a suck ass Rams team by being a mobile QB that isn't smart enough to be a pocket QB?..that is verification of his greatness?Tebow really can't play....he was given an opportunity on at least 2 teams.
@OC--LeftCoast
Too much stuff to write about this topic...that isn't football.
And, I'm not cool with a lot of stuff.....A LOT....
but if a guy has ability....I'd use him....regardless of his views...his stance...his feelings...or my own feelings. Playing Tom Savage....Case Keenum....Drew Stanton....I'll throw Jay Cutler in there as well, over a proven talent like Kaep is foolish...in a league that supposedly based on a meritocracy-type system
Hope you enjoyed your Veterans Day bro...but the struggle for others is real.
I remember him diving into the endzone to beat us last year on a team not half as good as the Texans.
Scored two 4th quarter TD's....and converted a 2-point conversion....great...naw....but pretty damn good the way our defense was playing that day. They were playing for Bones....hard....So he beat a suck ass Rams team by being a mobile QB that isn't smart enough to be a pocket QB?..that is verification of his greatness?
