Jeff Fisher Would Make The Trade Again
www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/wp/2014/12/03/jeff-fisher-would-make-blockbuster-draft-trade-with-redskins-all-over-again/
Actually, the Rams haven't seemed to improve nearly as much as I expected with those picks. They have some nice players, but none of them are 'to die for'.
-------------
Unless we are talking Andrew Luck or a similar player, any gm would be downright stupid not to make the trade the Rams did. If they didn't they should be immediately fired.
The Rams have netted some nice players and the potential of drafting 4 good starters is too tough to pass up.
--------
Like. Duh.
--------
As between the two franchises, only one has made the playoffs since the trade and that one ain't the Rams.
---------
That's the Silver bullet to the argument...they've stunk just as badly and spent $50m on their injured but talented QB.
-----------
It would be the height of irony if we were to end up with Bradford and they were to acquire RGIII.
----------
Great ... one injury prone QB for another.
---------
Short-term results. Over the long-term, as between the two franchises, one acquired some talent that will help them for years, while the other is already back to 2011 condition with possibly no future starting QB currently on the roster.
---------
PC and I had a couple of scenarios where we took Bradford off them instead of trading for the 2nd pick, would've been an interesting move as think Bradford would've been better suited to Kyle's offense and some half decent protection in front of him (compared to the Rams).
The problem was the level if compensation and the huge signing bonus that the Rams had to eat (and still do)

What Could Snyder Do To Make Us More 'Fan Friendly'
The Redskins seem to have a terrible public relations situation. It wasn't good before all the RGIII stuff, but now we seem to be poison in all the mainstream media. The term 'laughingstock' is often applied, and for good reason. Basically, everything Daniel Snyder touches, turns to fecal matter. It's not always his fault, but that's tended to be the result.
What can he do as owner to win people back? I think everyone here has suffered a wound to their 'fanship' over the past years.
I don't see him lowering prices and I don't see him putting a winner on the field in the near future.
I would like to see him finding a way to allow fans to have a more proprietary sense about the team. Personally, I'd like to see training camp move back to Carlisle. It had more tradition and it allowed fans to have more access to players. But that's just me.
How terrible would it be to turn over the selection of a draftee - say a 5th rounder - to a representative group of Redskin fans? Let 'em make the pick (or even approve a trade down and take more than one). Wouldn't you follow that draft pick a whole lot more closely?
What else can The Daniel do?
----------
You ever seen one of those videos where they parachute into the stadium before a game? He could do something like that but without the parachute.
---------
Sell.
---------
Win or get the hell out.
---------
1. Reduce the price of beer at games by $3.
2. Wear elevator shoes so he doesn't look so damn short.
3. Tell the Mike Wise's and Phil Simms' of the world to
off about the name.
4. Do whatever you can to bring back the hogettes.
5. Stop playing that crap disco type music prior to the game.

Week #14 Rams
A study of a blockbuster trade gone awry.
----------
The good thing about this game is that I get to see good ol' Shaun Hill light us up.
----------
more likely the Defense light us up
interesting to watch their O line .. you can see what effect the line has on mediocre QB level play
also the defense got some players to work with also and they are physical
---------
We can see what our draft picks can do for them
--------
This game is going to be insufferable
---------
They will surely bring up the picks we gave up to the Rams to get Griffin, as they show the camera on him on the sideline holding a headset.
-------
i have already went on record saying we won't win another game.i see us taking an all american ass whipping sunday. shaun hill will be looking like the 2nd coming of peyton manning sunday at fed ex field.---
---------
IF I watch this game it will have to be on mute. Being a Redskins fan is hard.

For all the extra picks the Rams have gotten from the RGIII trade, they are STILL under .500 for the 2012-14 seasons.. They havent made the playoffs once
To me that says several things
QB is STILL by far the most important position on the field, and by a wide margin..So you make the deal if you think you are getting a franchise qB for7- 10 years.. Too bad RGIII doesnt appear to be that guy..BUT the premise is still correct
Yes, the Rams are in a tougher division by far, but all those players still havent turned into a winning record for them.. That says a lot about how they chose to use those picks
Injuries (Both RGIII and Bradford) have played a big part in the poor outcomes for both the Rams and Skins.. So, beware banking on a guy with a significant injury history
