I just hope the stands are not filled with green and yellow and it can be a true home field advantage.

There will be a lot of cheeseheads. And hopefully they'll go home unhappy.

This Rams team is getting to the point where fans of other teams will start opting to watch their team get their @$$es kicked from the comfort of their couch. It's coming IMO.

Here is what Packer fans will be singing after the game:

Here's my story, it's sad but true
It's about a QB that I once knew
He took the ball then ran around
On nearly every single down

Yeah I should have known it from the very start
Aaron will leave me with a broken heart
Now listen people what I'm telling you
Can’t get away from Donald and Suh

The Packers have been the most overrated team in the NFL this year.

They'll score some on us because, Rodgers.

But how will they stop us? Their defense is very bad. I think this looks like the Rams/Chargers game.

This game will look a lot like the one they played against Detroit. We’ll score a ton and then Rodgers will make it look like a game by throwing 3 touchdowns when it doesn’t matter.

Haven't seen the Packers this year. Sounds like they have defensive problems. With a week off, getting two WRs back and Rogers they can give the Rams a battle. Hope Kupp is back. I think 9 points is a crazy line. After 3 games on the road staying home should energize them. Hope Ram fan show up and support them.

I’d be very surprised if we’re able to cover that spread. This one should be a battle between the QBs to the end.

That line seems crazy which is exactly why the Rams will probably blow them out and cover the spread. The rule of thumb is when a betting line looks too good to be true to take the other side.

I hope Jared has the game of his life, where ARod has to run and find him after the game....

Chargers have a better defense than the Packers, I expect a strong ball control offense to keep Rodgers off the field and the defense fresh enough to combat him.

Seriously, I expect the Rams to blow them out, especially away from Green Bay.

Packers could be much healthier in Week 8 vs. Rams

by Freddie Boston

https://lombardiave.com/2018/10/23/packers-healthier-week-8-rams/

Rookie cornerback Jaire Alexander and wide receivers Randall Cobb and Geronimo Allison have all missed time due to injuries. But with an extra week to get healthy, the Packers will hope to have all three back in Sunday’s game against the LA Rams.According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, all three will practice on Tuesday. It’s early in the week, but this is encouraging news. The Packers will need them against the NFL’s only undefeated team this week.Getting Alexander back could be the most important, as Mike Pettine’s defense faces its toughest test of the season.

The Rams are averaging 445.3 yards on offense per game, second most in the NFL. They also rank third in scoring offense, averaging 33.6 points per game. The Packers will struggle to slow down the Rams offense, but getting Alexander back would help. The offense has been up-and-down this year. While rookie Marquez Valdes-Scantling has played well — making seven catches for 171 yards and a touchdown in the past two games — getting Cobb and Allison back would be great news.

Aaron Rodgers trusts both to be in the right place at the right time, and we saw in Week 1 just how much of an impact they can have on the game.To have any chance of winning on Sunday the Packers will need to score a lot of points, and being fully healthy at wide receiver will help.

I just hope that the Rams don't under estimate the Packers, and look to the following week against the Saints. That would be very disastrous for us.

I like Aaron Rodgers, and he scares me when he's on the field. If this is going to be a track meet. I hope we score more TD's and FG's, and let GB score more FG's than TD's.

But, they do have ARod, and he can beat good teams on his own!!

Not with the team he is on right now.

This is the worst team the Packers have had in a long time.

They'll score some on us because, Rodgers.

They have a middle of the road offense so I would be willing to wager they score below the NFL average versus the Rams.

lets make a bet LOL.

Yep.
He is the master of getting outplayed for 52 minutes and going off for multiple scores in the last 8 minutes.

Oh, I thought it was the refs that did that.

I can see why Packers fans are so down. Your team needed Rodgers magic at home to beat the niners and the next week you see that team get murdered at home.

I think welwe control the game and the end score will look alot closer due to Rodgers putting up garbage time scores.

McVay's one game at the time pep talk has stuck to the players' heads thus far. Could easily slip though knowing human nature.

Haven't seen the Packers this year. Sounds like they have defensive problems.

I was surprised to see their D is actually having a pretty good year, esp. against the pass--surprising bc it looked like they were getting a tad torched by the niners. From that First Look segment on therams.com:

Defense

  • Points Allowed Per Game: 15th (24)
  • Yards Allowed Per Game: 8th (328.3)
  • Passing Yards Allowed Per Game: 5th (211.8)
Key Contributors

  • LB Blake Martinez: 3 Sk, 51 Tkl, 6 TFL
  • S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix: 23 Tkl, 3 Int, 3 PD, 1 Sk, 1 FF
The Packers roll out one of the NFL’s best defenses, especially against the pass — limiting its opponents to just 211.8 passing yards per game in 2018. Veteran safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix leads his defense in interceptions with five. Green Bay is also a top-10 team in sacks, with 21.0 sacks made by 11 different players in six games.

Packers fans travel well. They have to since there is no way in hell to get tickets for a home game there. I was talking to some Packer fans in STL and they told me that some companies use travel packages to away games as bonuses for employees. Travel agencies arrange everything from flights to hotels to tickets for groups of 50 or more on a regular basis.

So yeah, there will be some cheeseheads there, but the watermelon heads will outnumber them
