I think if the Rams get up by 2 TD's, McVay will run the ball to eat up clock. 4th quarter means starters out if we are up by 3 TD's

IMO, you’re close but Terrible to average and trending towards terrible again

yeah look no farther than goff i think fisher would of had him out of the league by now. under fisher goff was looking like a bust and we know where teams without a qb go.

The recent conjecture I've read is that Lawrence has enough clout to let the Jets know that if picked, he'll sit out the season and collect more than an NFL salary from Nike, Under Armor, or Adidas. At the same time, the Jets feel like wasting the first overall pick on a player that never takes a snap there would be a death blow, and the potential risk would be devastating enough to force them to move back while picking up some additional picks, maybe even just one pick back to the Jags spot.
If Lawrence would rather play for Jacksonville than the Jets I seriously think he lacks the intelligence to play in the NFL...

Have you seen that hair style he's rockin'? His judgement is questionable at best.

well Nick Foles took Philly to the SuperBowl. I’d say protecting the QB.

Lance Kendricks was a good run blocker & he makes that TD catch against Pittsburgh who knows what Zthe Rams would have done.

Then again who were the WR’s he was throwing it to again ?

CLASSIC DICK WILLIAMS defense. The Rams go ahead late only to give up a TD to lose the game. Williams Law.

Funny watching Derick Carr get him fired.

Remember when fans on this board were getting a boner at the very idea of having Gase as our head coach? :p

Yea.

Apparently Gase was a Genius.

So some Genius hired the Genius.

And now the Jets are going to go 0-16.

It’s just Genius.

We can't print what Jets fans are saying now.

Why does it feel like ONLY the Rams could do something like this???

And yet... it feels like such a Jet move to win this game and cost themselves Trevor Lawrence.

Lawrence has to be breathing a sigh of relief. He's not going to NY, so no NY media or fans and he gets to stay in the South where he's comfortable. He's a chill guy like Goff who's getting married now and isn't a big city guy.

Poor Rich Eisen...

Just checked out the Gang Green message board.

Jets fans are more upset by this win than Rams fans are by this loss.

Total despair over there.

One of the few situations you’ll ever find where BOTH FAN BASES are hacked after the game. :D

Jets fans. Rams fans. Nobody is happy this morning.

.

what are they so upset about? unless they were gonna trade away the pick i would be happy that qb will not be on my team. when he says it sucks to be going to my team he would be dead to me.

Better be ready for the jets. Trap game written all over it.

You guys were saying?

This team will NOT get deep into the playoff this year. I've been saying it all season, the Rams play down to their competition, and as long as we keep doing that we will never reach the SB.

I can't believe we lost to Adam Gase...

I hope McVay didn't even talk to the players after that one. That was one half hearted attempt at picking up an easy win. NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEXT

We play down to the competition but we also play up to the competition

Tampa Bay Chicago (5-2 at the time) Seattle Arizona even Buffalo which we had in the bag except for the horrible official call

You could also say we played up to the competition for New England since the players so badly wanted to win that game

Miami (at the time) Jets SF all were played down to the competition.

We can beat the good teams just can't beat the crappy teams for some reason unless they are the NFC east

That's not what good teams do. I understand every once in a blue moon you lose to a team like the Jets. Given our losses this year, this team has proven we are too inconsistent to make a deep push into the playoffs. Too many games we've witnessed players not being ready to play. That's just not gonna do.

Maybe but I think its one of those things where once the playoffs start - then the team will start taking things seriously

I remember the Lakers in the 80s and 2000s

So often they would lose to crappy teams during the season yet once the playoffs got going - boom they would take off

I am hoping for the same with this team.

I think the NBA and NFL are vastly different because there's only 16 games in a season. And the Rams don't want to be playing in GB or NOLA if they don't have to. They are just making it harder on themselves.
Look no further than the 49ers games this year. These are division games. You can't drop those

You could be right but dammit I am going to hope that they play up to their abilities in the playoffs against the good teams.

They have done it so far this year and I hope they can keep it going.

Let's see what they do to Seattle and the Cardinals in the next two weeks.

If they win both, I will have extremely high hopes they can beat anyone in the playoffs.

Green Bay in the frozen tundra would be hard though. Goff doesn't play well in cold weather.

Better put in the 13 and 22 sets for that game and make it a defensive struggle.
