Kevin Arnold was a Jets fan was he not?

He sure was, which might have been his first terrible decision. His last was letting Winnie slip away because she's a total babe now.

Edit: Really appreciate The Wonder Years reference. It sits as one of my favorite shows of all time.

She looked good in the programme and is a right sort now as well. It used to on channel 4 on Sunday afternoons over here and I was around the same age as he was meant to be in it. I loved it although I was more of a Paul Pfeiffer goon than a Kevin Arnold when I was that age.

Something tells me the Jets ownership will be watching our Defensive side of the ball more intently. Hopefully Staley laughs at them if they come asking.

This thread begs the question, are there really Jets fans?

There are I believe. We can only pity them.

Perhaps those who dimly, from the past, recall the Rams' lost years in the wilderness after Vermeil, the GSOT and the Super Bowl can relate. A little bit.

Even though she has a body like a 12 year old boy, what you think @Faceplant ?
Good enough to give a Blumpkin?

Then this is a show for you. Takes a couple episodes to get going but by the middle of the first season you will be laughing your ass off lol
Haha that sounds like a good time. Going to have to carve out some time for this, btw what is it called? ;)

It's very difficult to tell how much talent they actually have.
I think all of us can speak on how a bad coach can make a pretty talented team look
like trash.
WR wise? They've got a decent foundation. Crowder is a proven player. Perriman is as well, to a lesser extent, but he's a legit WR. Mims looks like the real deal TE is a little weak, Griffin has had a couple mediocre seasons but low level #2 TE at best, while Herndon looked great as a rookie, but not so much this year.
Either way, the offense looks a lot better when Flacco is playing and you can see what they have. Becton is a really good LOT, and will only get better.
I agree the right coach makes the difference, but who's to say other situations are better? Heck, if the Jets dont improve they could be picking #1 again next year. Then he'd be stuck on a lousy team that is committed to the coach for a couple seasons. At least this year they could be lining up a coach specifically for him

I'd like to imagine an alternate reality where he decides to stay at Clemson and snubs the Jets, just because that would be the thing you'd expect when talking about the Jets. But I don't think he'd pass up the chance to get paid for doing what he does best. The Jets are crap but the NY market offers a ton of endorsement opportunities.
The recent conjecture I've read is that Lawrence has enough clout to let the Jets know that if picked, he'll sit out the season and collect more than an NFL salary from Nike, Under Armor, or Adidas. At the same time, the Jets feel like wasting the first overall pick on a player that never takes a snap there would be a death blow, and the potential risk would be devastating enough to force them to move back while picking up some additional picks, maybe even just one pick back to the Jags spot.

From the Gang Green Board..

Since 2000, there have been 31 games with a team favored by at least 17 points. The favorite is 30-1 in those games, with the only loss coming by the Patriots against the Dolphins in Week 17 of last season.

Rams are at 17 points

Also from their Board...

I would take Rams (-17) comfortably, but if you watched the Patriots-Rams game, you would see that the Rams did not try to run up that score.

Ahh notice how other teams see the way we burn clock and go for the win vs running up stats like Seattle and Baltimore. Teams that like to be media darlings and win awards but don't do shit in the playoffs.

And my favorite....

Jgb: I believe in Sam

Creepy Lurker: I believe in Sam........HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

Jgb: I mean, he exists.
