Rams had the number one offense. The problems were Derfense and ST. This is where the Rams should invest money in.
WR is still a need. Adams is old and Puka does have an injury history. So you don't want to force Puka to have 10 plus touches every game. You may end up like in 23', where you play a month missing both starting WRs.

So get at least one high level rookie and maybe a solid vet role player or a 2nd rookie that can fill a role.

Definitely Special Teams..... Maybe a real coach that can turn some of the existing crap into Crisco without throwing out too much money

Defense, I think a stud LB that is good in coverage could fix some of the coverage issues.

I would be surprised if the Rams FO didn't make an offer to the Raiders for Mendoza.

Maybe it won't be as much as I would offer, but I can see it pretty close.

Whatever the case I'm hoping we can land him.
The only way that would happen is if Stafford hung it up now. You don't bring Stafford back then burn all your draft capital on a guy who will sit on the bench.

Adam's wasn't the same after the hamstring deal.

And they use Puka for many positions.

1. Sometimes we use him on short yardage plays because our RB's aren't physical enough to power for extra yardage.

2. He doubles as a TE because we have one TE that still hasn't grasped the playbook, and the other is hurt every other Sunday.

3. He actually blocks.... Better than some of our TE's.

4. He fights for every yard after the catch.

So those four points puts Puka more at risk. At this rate he may be only effective 5 more seasons.

Rams have two young recievers and both will have another season under their belt. And that's Mumfield and Whittington. They are also deep at the TE position. Don't waste money on yet another receiver.

I have no confidence that Adams will have the kind of year this year as last. WRs can fall off a cliff in a hurry. He also could get more pulls and tears as older players do.

Mumpfield has potential as a complete WR. Whittington to me is what he is. He doesn't look like a crisp route runner. He just is used as an underneath guy, gimmick guy. He will never be a down the field threat.

A guy like Lemon can solve two needs. A 2nd big play WR and a big play offensive player in general. And he can be a big time return threat for special teams.

After Adam's went down, the offense wasn't the same. And when he came back the offense still struggled more in the redzone.

If you look at the first 10 games regarding field goal attempts versus the last 7 games.... The Rams were becoming dependent on field goals a bit more..... We just weren't the same team after game 10

Agree.

After Cornerback, I think Wide Receiver is the Rams' greatest need.

If Adams and Nacua can each play 17 games and the playoffs, then I think the Rams would be fine ... But ... Adams' age and Nacua's play-style (like a 1970s Fullback at WR) translates to missing some games.

The Rams are an offensive team ... their offense is keyed by the passing game ... QB and receivers are critical ... if Adams or Nacua are out it has a major impact on the entire team ... Got to add another Wide Receiver IMO

Rams effectively mortgaged their future to win Super Bowl LVI.

Sometimes there are certain situations worth going for. I think this is one of those situations.

How about adding Nacua, and remove Corrum.... I think that would move the needle.

Two years is gonna come quickly and we are going to need a QB.... Though Nacua is one hell of a football player, good WR's are a dime a dozen. And Stafford just needs good / above average WR's and a smart TE (Kelce) that's available every weekend.

Ferguson still looks lost, Higbee is always hurt and Parkinson seems to get dinged up.

Glad you're not the GM.
Wow. Keep dreaming.

All-In means:
1. Getting rid of the chaff (e.g., no more Reeders on the team).
2. Pay Stafford well enough to make him want to stay two years (the Rams will not win a SB w/o him).
3. Getting the best CB available in FA.
4. Getting the best CB available in the draft.
5. Getting the best LB available in FA, or center, whichever they think helps more.
6. Keeping and using the draft picks to find more gems.
Like it all but #5.
I think those 2 positions would be better to fill in the draft, and be much less of a cap hit.
But you may be right ..... they may go FA for one spot, and use the draft to fill the more expensive position.

This could do it?

Immediate gaps are in ST.

Secondary gap, a linebacker that can cover TE's and RB's coming out of the backfield. Sorry but Landman was getting scorched in the middle of the field on coverage.

Most important life after Stafford. I feel this is a chance to get a Mendoza QB and can learn from Stafford for 2 years.
Sorry. Rams weak ass pass coverage was #1 with a bullet.
