When did we start allowing political talk and political opinions on ROD?
More crazy talk. There is no Elway or Manning in this draft worth giving up all that and gutting our teams future. Trades like you want are what get head coaches and GMs fired.
Your discernment is lacking. In football for sure.
Now I never was a huge Kid Rock guy. His song did go to #1 from his halftime show.
Eric The Great hated it too.

I guess that's what happens when you have an artist of Puerto Rican decent do a Super Bowl halftime show in Spanish...... Ruffled a few feathers. When did we start allowing political talk and political opinions on ROD?
Did Bad Bunny boink your girlfriend or something? You seem to have a real hardon on against him.
Why?When you wrote that ‘you hope the Rams will build a better defense than the Seahawks’ … THAT ain’t going to happen, in my opinion.
First season with a new QB. As the season went on Srafford began to connect with him.He had something like 115 targets and 60 catches at one point this year. Not great.
Because of the reason I stated ...Why?
The first time around, the Rams threw EVERYTHING at getting the roster to critical mass to win a SB, including a massive amount of draft capital. They had to, they desperately needed difference-makers like Stafford, Ramsey and Miller. This time? They *have* difference-makers on the roster, imo.. in Stafford, Verse and Puka. Their biggest issues are obvious, Corner and overall Special Teams.
I would argue that the "all-in" this time should be more on the financial end.. targeting FAs, especially one prime Corner. I would also consider going after Rasheed Shaheed.. overpriced.. but a perfect fit for this team's needs.
Do not use draft capital in trades unless there's a ridiculous value to be had and they should be looking to bolster the roster's overall talent and depth with the draft and be looking at the longterm as much as the immediate. My plan going into the draft would be using one of the firsts, but trading back with the other with the goal of having at least 6 picks in the first 4 rounds. WR, CB, and OT being the top priorities.. but then S and ILB and Edge. If they draft as well as recent years.. wow.
They've put themselves in the position to push the 2026 roster over the top.. while not sacrificing the future of the team.
Two moves.. converting Davante Adams and releasing Darious Williams.. puts them up to 71 million in space. I assume AT LEAST 10 mil of that goes to a raise for Stafford.. but that leaves A TON of money for some immediate roster help. Both in high-end spots like the two I mentioned.. but also for bargain hunting for those vets who can come in and offer quality depth.
In no world am I ever giving up all that for Mendoza. Yes, he's a fine young player but that's nuts. You would make the team worse, not better. I don't even think you'd have to give up that much to get Joe BurrowThis could do it?
Round 1: 2 picks (Own, via ATL)
Round 2: 1 pick
Round 3: 1 pick
Round 5: 2 picks (Own, via TEN)
Nacua
Ferguson
All 2027 1st and 2nd round picks
The difference is Joe hasn't had an offensive line. In our system he would be lights out.You have a point there about McVay, and Burrow is an option, but he's similar to Goff.... "Mr. Almost but not quite."
They gave up picks, but not an entire draft and their #1 WR. It's apples and oranges man.Rams effectively mortgaged their future to win Super Bowl LVI.
Sometimes there are certain situations worth going for. I think this is one of those situations.
Joe hasn't had the best OLines, but a good share of his sacks is on him as he hold the ball a long time, too.The difference is Joe hasn't had an offensive line. In our system he would be lights out.
Perhaps, but would you compare him to Goff or say he's better ?Joe hasn't had the best OLines, but a good share of his sacks is on him as he hold the ball a long time, too.

I think people are getting overly triggered for some reason. Talking about the Super Bowl halftime show is still about football. When the NFL injects politics into the sport (kneeling being widely accepted" then one should expect to be able to talk about it. Its not like discussing political candidates or whether you're conservative or liberal, we're just talking about what's happening in the game. Maybe some sensitive people should just turn away completely if it hurts their feelings so bad. Please, guys. Enough with the political bullshit on both sides, for serious. It hasn’t been allowed here for more than a decade and a half. It will never, ever be allowed here. If you must talk politics, there are plenty of other sites that allow it, but not this site and especially not on this football sub-server.
I dont think its wild at all. I'd love to have Crosby and while reports are that the Raiders previously turned down a trade offer (from team unknown) of 2 1st rounders, I think their leverage is down now that he's all but said he refuses to play for them. Would I do #29 and Young? Heck yeah. Would the Raiders? Dont think so.... Maybe throw in next year's 2nd round pick?Maybe "all-in" means a trade of some kind for Max Crosby. We could offer pick#29, Byron Young and some change. Young tailed off dramtically the 2nd half of the season, was he playing injured, I dont know. A new Young contract may not be a great idea, and Verse may never turn into anything more than Jadeveon Clowney clone. Crosby would immediately give this defense an identity that it should be feared. The topic was "ALL-IN" so maybe this is just a wild and ridiculous thought.
