i know, this is a pessimistic response
look who we kept under 30...

i know the league has tilted the playing field to the O... but still i expected much more with the defensive front the rams are sporting... and yeah, i know i know its not the dline that the real issue...

It simply underscores how important Talib is to this D

I learned nothing I didn’t already know.

-The Rams are imperfect
-The defense is underperforming
-The offense is otherworldly and amongst the greatest of all time
-The rams are ready to win a Super Bowl this year...whether or not we get the breaks and luck every team requires year in and year out to actually win the big game is impossible to know
-the Rams will be contenders as long as McVay and Snead are around (in that order)
-Jared Goff is an elite quarterback in the national football league
-we will all tell the stories of Aaron Donald to our children and their children when they say (insert name) is the best defensive player ever
-Todd Gurley will Sit amongst ED, Marshall, and SJAX as an all time great ram running back
-Robert woods is underrated (seriously how??)
-Brandin cooks is a big time player in this league.

Did I miss anything?

I learned that the Rams can't stop good QB's from passing the ball. This will hurt them in the playoffs, because all they will see is good QB's. IF you have to score 54 points to win, you ain't making it to the Super Bowl. Some team will stop you.
So you're saying the chiefs definitely won't make it to the super bowl? Not only can they not stop good QB's, but they can also manage to score 51 points and still lose.

Other than Hekker is the best punter since Ray Guy...I think you pretty much nailed it.

Rams are the most consistent team in the league. No bad losses, proven to be able to wipe floor vs bottom feeders, and they know how to finish games....they're simply the least likely team to get blown out on a weekly basis.

Rams defense is fine. They continue to make game winning plays. They're allowing a lot of points to teams that average a lot of PPG. Considering how talented Rams are naturally teams are going to prepare like maniacs and show up prepared to tame the chaos. They have played in some very competitive games this year. Their strength of schedule has to be to top 10. Besides Oakland, SF and Arizona every opponent they've played is capable of beating any team without being overly shocking.

I learned that practicing in altitude will cramp up your whole team if the altitude game you were preparing for is moved. ...And also that I still want some Kay Adams.

I learned that the Coliseum field sucks even when USC doesn't have a home game that week.

I really hope they get the field right in the new stadium.

When Zuerlein missed the XP and then had a short kick off, I was thinking his injury may be acting up again.

But then on another kickoff, Zuerlein slipped and fell down right when he kicked the ball.

I don't think he was ever getting good footing when trying to do kickoffs.

good point. Rams were falling too many times probably chiefs too. Glad no one got hurt.

And Props to Peters. For all Peters struggles learning man coverage, the dude caught the interception after the turf ate up his foot when he readjusted to the ball. I played DB, that is a hard ball to catch after your foot slips out.

I learned that we can win games without Gurley being effective. He helped out a lot as decoy.
But if anyone saw the article about the Saints game plan against the eagles (put the game on Carson Wentz)I feel confident teams can’t do that against us. Goff will eat up your defense.

No, I'm saying that right now the team that has the best chance is the Saints. Only 1 team that gave up more than 25 points per game during the season has every won the Super Bowl. And right now the Rams and Chiefs are over that figure. Not saying it can't happen, but it is not likely too.

The game has changed and has become much more offensive points driven than ever before, I'm not 100% sure you can take that stat as a given anymore.

But it only takes one tipped pass or a strip sack to change the momentum of the game as we saw on Monday night, bring back Talib to the fold and you have that leaky hole in the back filled, we've beaten quite a few good AND great QBs so far this year, we lost in NO due to poor officiating in my opinion.

It's more what I"m not sure about...
...Is McVay better off using Timeouts early and often when he does like what he sees before a play start.

McVay uses TOs to confuse and baffle the opposing D, the more I watch the games and game planning the more I see what he's doing, he changes tempo's, speeds things up, slows things down, right at the last second he calls a TO, I really do think it's a part of his master plan...

Whitworth needs some time to rest up . He looks tired , and for good reason.
I'm with you there, I think the change in altitude and what's been happening in LA this past few weeks has hit the big man, this is the best time for a Bye week IMO.

Every person who has issues with our defense or defense in general NEEDS to understand this point.

Scoring isn't through the roof. It's up about a point a game that's it.

The "high scoring" NFL is simply not a fact.
