I don't like this match up and I expect this game to be a dogfight the entire time. This is probably going to be a 1-3 point win for them or us.

Right now this is a dangerous team, I'd rather play the Saints right now.

Personally, I'm kinda loving that we're all the sudden the underdogs who no one is thinking about.
I'm right there with ya. In terms of the media and fan slobber the Rams have been MIA for about a month. I'm cool with that.

Colts are hot, Cowboys are hot, Foles is a magician, Lamar Jackson sucked because of [name every reason in the book besides he just sucked], the Bears suck because their kicker missed a game winner. That's the narrative this week.

Here's the thing when it comes to Goff in this game...CAN HE READ AND REACT PROPERLY TO THE BLITZ...and...is he willing to use his mobility???

This is a big deal because he's had problems in this area of his game. I wonder sometimes if McVay gives him the liberty to totally change plays!

I am not sure where all this "fear" of playing Dallas comes from. I think it could be a close game but looking at the match ups I feel good about this game. You never know how things will turn out but if the Rams play their game it should be fun to watch. Hope both teams come out of the game healthy, that injury to Hurns was gruesome so all the best to him as well.

I hate to say it, but the Rams play since the Chiefs game has not been stellar. Concerns with Goff when facing pressure have arose, oline has been getting beatdown up the middle, and offense has still been gutting the Rams run defense. None of this is good. The Rams desrve to be ragged on because of this, no matter who they play. The Rams are just going to have to rise up and play some damn football or we are toast!

@Karate61 Dallas has good edge rushers. Middle should be fine, not a big concern. Biggest issue is with rush defense. Need to stop Zeke and make Dallas play into our strength of throwing against us.

Rams keys to a W:
1) Run early and often between the tackles to set up the play action. Throw in a couple of jet sweeps to keep Dallas defense honest.
2) Stop Zeke, put 7+ in the box and play cover 1 and dare Dak to throw.
3) Build that early lead and dictate Dallas' offense to become a passing team against a good pass rush.

This hasn't seem to be Mcvay's M.O. recently. Maybe because of TG's injury issues. But, I agree Rams need to run early, get a lead, and then really put the pressure on the rest of the game; that would put the pressure on Dak and take Elliott off the table.

Rams 48
Niners 32 (really 17 since were playing back ups)

I don't know bro, but that looks pretty stellar.

And they took out the Rams starters early in the 4th against the Cardinals and late in the 3rd against the 49ers

They played really well the last two weeks

It's the playoffs so you never really know what will happen but I have every confidence in this Rams team to get the W Saturday night, screw all the doubters!

Most popular team, most valuable franchise, largest stadium, etc. etc. for no football-related reason. Cowboys fans are just witless marketing victims.

True, but I mentioned going back as far as the Detroit game, and those last two were the very lowly Cards and 9ers. It still seems to me they haven't righted the ship yet, so I'm still concerned; unlike having no concerns 1st half of season.

Well, Arizona almost beat the Seahawks after we blew the Cards out (Cards 24 Hawks 27) and the 49ers played the Broncos, Seahawks, and the Bears very close before our game. The Rams were not even stressed about killing either team.

I think Goff started regaining confidence in the middle of the Cards game and looked like his old self vs the 49ers. Plus, CJ Anderson has been revealed as yet another weapon in the Rams arsenal. I think we are sitting pretty, myself.

Defense hasn't played as well on the road. So it'll probably be on Dak and the offense.
Yup... since their winning streak started:
Away: Phi scored 20
Away: ATL scored 19
Home: WASH scored 23
Home: NO scored 10
Home: PHI scored 23
Away: INDY scored 23 (DAL got shut out)
Home: TB scored 20
Away: NYG scored 35
Home: SEA scored 22

At home, they've allowed an average of 19.6 PPG
Away, they've allowed an average of 24.25 PPG

5 PPG is pretty significant to me.

I've watched a good amount of DAL games this year (of course, they're always on and... I root against them because the media here is so hilarious when they lose... man, it was fun when they were 3-5 and reeling! :ROFLMAO:).

They are a different team away from Jerruhworld.

Rams formula for success:
1] Stuff the run
2] Pressure Prescott
Easier said than done, probably (especially stuffing that run)... but do those tow things and you win, IMO.

Their defense is certainly good... but I'm fairly certain the Rams can lay 27 on them.

Get up by 14 early... and keep the pressure on and the Rams should win easily.

Quite simple formula of success....

  1. Don't turn the ball over Goff, Natson or anyone else.
  2. Keep Elliott in check, he'll get yards, but don't have him break off long runs
  3. Don't let Prescott hurt you with his legs.
  4. Cover Cooper
Really like @jrry32 idea of off the 12 Personnel Set, putting Gurley in the WR slot, with Anderson in the backfield and running some Jet Sweeps off of that formation....IMO, if Goff plays well and does not turn the ball over, Rams win.

It's strange. The Rams will get no credit for beating the Cowboys. It's like playing a lesser team and experts say "they should have beaten them anyway," if we do. If we don't, it's an expose of how we suck. When we beat the Saints, the Rams will still be underdogs against whoever we play in the Super Bowl.

Once we win the Super Bowl, there will be an asterisk that says "weakest Super Bowl winner in history. Well, probably not on the last one, but it sure feels that way.

We are sounding like the Eagles of last year.

I am so damn pumped for this game . The nerve on some of the cowboys fans , I guess that is why they are the most hated fans of all 32 teams . I do admit I am a bit scared ( I think this game is 60-40 rams , maybe even 50-50 ) and I agree the rams didn't play very well ( specially offense) since the BYE WEEK ( after chiefs game ) . Yeah they did good against the cards and niners...but ...it is the cards and niners.

Well if the Cowboys fans really believe they’re going to take over the Coliseum then I hope they began purchasing tickets 7 days ago

This isn’t like the regular season
