In today’s environment? Fuck that! I’m not getting sued for a measly $10 an hour to have one of those half wits sue me if something happens when breaking up the fight.
. People want to act like assholes then let them beat the shit out of each other and clean the mess afterwards.

You miss my point, friend. I agree with you. Security at SoFi should not be entrusted to minimum-waged ushers.

I'm a teacher at a small high school in a rough neighborhood in Southern California. We graduate about 300 students a year. We fill a small football stadium bleachers at our graduation ceremony. Our security are professional, abled-bodied folks with walkie-talkies to each other and to several police officers on hand. If shit goes down like what happened at SoFi (and it has), it's dealt with swiftly. It shouldn't be up to ushers.

I'm just shocked this beating was so long and in full view of an entire stadium section and there wasn't a swarm of security to clamp that shit down.

The most disturbing thing to me is the lack of security.

Regardless of who started it, a man was held down and beaten bloody by three other men for about a minute. There were only two staff members present and they both looked like greeters from Walmart. They couldn't and didn't stop the beating.

With no one to stop it, the Rams organization is lucky that incident didn't turn even uglier. Very disturbing.

They have notice now. It will be used in evidence in the future if/when it happens again.

So, my family had Rams season tickets every season in Anaheim. A fight broke out now and then, except for Raider games. The few Raiders at Rams games back then had crazy brawls, when the LA fans came into town. One game we counted about 25 fights breaking out in the stands. LA definitely has some fucked up fans.

I would never go to a game here in AZ because everyone is drinking and packing guns. When I lived in Seattle I came down to a Husky game in Phoenix and there was a shooting in the parking lot between drunken armed fans. Never again.

I moved to Phoenix area in 2013 and have gone to every Rams v. Cardinals game in Arizona since then. I can't remember one fight breaking out at any of those games. Pretty tame crowds in Phoenix if you ask me.

I have a few observations.


1) play stupid games win stupid prizes. Starting a fight with three people means you’re gonna get your ass whooped

2) Only cowards jump people

3) they’re lucky that guy didn’t die getting pummeled like that.

WTF? I've been to at least 8 or 9 AZ - Rams games and there is always 3 fights at the minimum I've seen and if I can find my old CPU I'll post at least one of them.

It's very surprising since i always thought AZ would be better than other places, hell I went to Oakland wearing my Holt jersey and not one person said a word to me, I got some looks of disgust but that's about it! Cowboys stadium was tame as well, went to the Coliseum that first regular season game back against the Shegulls and it was bad. I lost count after 10.

I mean, i did grow up watching my fireman uncles fist fight with Niner fans every year but that was expected at candelstick park, the shithole of all stadiums.

I think people have different definitions of the slang term jumped maybe based on where they’re from. When I use it I mean multiple people attacking a single person. Others use it to mean surprise attack or something of the sort.

It's appalling really. That scene was escalating long enough for security to get involved before any punches were thrown. The fact the brawl went on for a minute and a half and still no intervene?

Yeah I met a lot of amazing Rams fans to, most from Cali! Pretty friendly people to, but I've always seen scuffles there to.
