When did the NFL deny that?

Seriously???

The Rams got away with a couple of HUGE ones.

Let's call it as it is.

The refs missed some BIG calls that had they gone against the Rams people here would be melting down.
I think it is a valid statement that Payton just had to run the ball, burn the clock and kick a field goal. Game over.

freak.

Rewatch the game.
2 helmet hits on Woods - no call.
Shields was hit 3 yards out of bounds on the Hekker 1st down. No Call
3, after on the ground obvious foot stomps. The bogus punt call, late in game. Goff face mask, late in game, 2 more, by the way, the high-low on Fowler, late in game. the obvious hold on last drive in regulation, a probable TD to Everett, no call. I got at least 14 more....

Funny thing is Brady throws a game ending pick, but KC gets called for a neutral zone call away from the play and nobody crying about that

In slow motion it was an obvious penalty. But in game speed? Do you want to be that guy that throws the flag that seals the game there? Tough one.

But the officiating this weekend was HORRIBLE in both games. Our game was tons of no-calls, the cheats-chiefs game was too many penalties.

AND YET, IT WAS ONE CALL, COMPARED TO MANY THAT WENT AGAINST US, SO BE IT.

edit: didn't mean to shout. Lol
Exactly...so take your pick.....

You know....and I'm getting clowned by my family and friends about me being bias saying this.... yes it was a penalty.... but it was a hell of a lot closer to not being a penalty than people are seeing. The reason why the ref didn't throw the flag was because Robey got there about the same time the ball got there...he got there just before the ball was at the receiver....it really was a bang bang play.... and no it wasn't helmet to helmet, or defenseless receiver either...he hit him first with the forearm to the chest....

it's the angle from behind that makes it look like he got there super early...when you look at it in from the original angle...he gets there pretty much as the ball is getting there...

I swear they keep showing just that angle so they can create a story.

Again - I feel for any fan that saw their team lose a game they could have won. With that said other than the missed PI (which was 1 of 134 plays in the game) - what else do the Saints have to legitimately complain about? Payton needs to put that 1 play in perspective for the good of his team. If he doesn't it may eat him and his team alive during the offseason.

Oh, I posted in another thread that I don't have much room for Saints complaints in light of how the entire game was called, I sure have room for KC fan to be salty as hell.

They all, but gave the game to NE.

I mean, if you give any team enough chances, they're going to get it done and I mean...

It makes me proud that no matter how we got jobbed this year, McVay would NEVER, EVER, EVER put a loss on the Refs, even as we've seen some outrageous stuff this year.

McVay is class, Payton is gas.

McVay deserves every accolade they give him. And honestly, I dunno how he doesn't win back to back Coach of the Year.

Also, AD for MVP.

The game was officiated so lop sided for the Saints. Cry me a River on the last no call.

Rams are going to the Super Bowl Bitches!

Super disappointed that people in the media are focusing on that one play instead of the penalty discrepancy coupled with all the non calls in the Saints favor.

It was a missed call. I just wish the media heads would at least admit that is was closer in real time. The pylon camera shows an awful angle on that play.

18 years ago a BS call helped get the Pats and their 24 yr old QB to the SB with the infamous tuck rule play. (I know it was the divisional round, but it saved their season)... They went on to become a dynasty.

Maybe that play will become our BS "Tuck Rule" play, leading to multiple SB Titles.... I can deal with that.
